What's going on with my ranking?
Hey Everyone,
Hope you're all having a wonderful Wednesday. I have a question that maybe someone can answer for me. I opened my laptop to see what was going on today, and I noticed my rank was 227. Wow!! I was so excited, not five minutes later, I saw that it had jumped up to 234. What happened, why did it do this? Has this happened to anyone else?
If it has please let me know, I would really appreciate it.

That happens sometimes. Don't worry about it. Just keep posting here regularly and you'll see it moving.
Mine always jumps around so I don't think about it much.

Hi. When you consider there are over 600,000 members you shouldn't be surprised that the rankings do tend to go up and down like yoyo's.
There are a lot of people publishing blogs, commenting, creating trainings etc etc etc every day.
Enjoy your day and don't worry about it coz at the end of the day your ranking has nothing to do with why you are here and that is to learn how to make money - Right?

No probs and the ranking sometimes acts kinda weird but I don't pay much attention to it coz there are a lot of members posting/commenting all the time, every day.

The rankings fluctuate with your participation. But for it to jump around so quickly I'm not sure I can give an accurate reason
I myself was curious about the up and down ranking. What I have noticed is a lot of it has to do with the site health percentages. There has been a couple of times I have noticed I have to target certain areas constantly in the site health to maintain a ranking. Also I am pretty sure other factors are taken into consideration also, such as posting blogs, creating training, asking and answering question within WA's site community etc etc.
I do want to congratulate you though on being in the Top 200!

It was probably recalculated after you logged on Mary. I don't believe the system has a set time to apply the algorithms.

It happens but ranking here just mean how active you are within WA. (answering peoples questions, creating blog posts, Creating questions ect.. I wouldn't worry about ranking here too much as this will not help you with your online business..
We agree with you bmark. Let us not spend to much focus and energy on ranking in here. Let us spend it more productively on growing our website business to hit our true goal for being in here :)
