My Wealthy Affiliate Progress Report
MY WA PROGRESS REPORT
I have learned so many things from my very first day here as a free member of WA (and each and everyday) up until today and all I can say is that my journey has been priceless. In addition to the progress that I have made thus far, I would like to share the following:
- Niche Selection
- Successes
- Plans & Goals (3 months)
- Plans & Goals (6 months)
NICHE SELECTION
After being fired from my job earlier this year, I decided to take another look at generating an income online. I tried multiple times in the past to create and setup my own blog (via WordPress and Google) only to experience frustration due to lack of knowledge and broken focus.
At my age, I was fed up with working a regular job because even though I worked very hard for my money, I experienced quite a bit of discrimination and harrassment. So, I refused to go back to the traditional 9 to 5 scene and started to become a delivery driver delivering groceries for shipt. I am grateful to have the income but it can be quite exhausting at times to say the least. I had been looking at WA for about a year before I actually took the plunge and joined as a free member earlier this year and I have to say I am very happy that I finally did it.
I am aware that there are many people looking for ways to earn money "on the side" to help boost and replace their current income and because I lost my job I became very passionate about helping others find ways to have multiple streams of income which is why I selected the side hustle niche--not only am I finding many ways to earn money from home online but I can also promote WA at the same time.
Some of my successes include first of all is coming this far in the program and building my very first WordPress Blog that is indexed in Google! I am proud of myself because normally if I am experience any form of rejection I tend to shy away from doing whatever it was I failed at again but not this time. I was afraid that I may ruin my ability to comment on blogs after my comments were rejected but I decided to get up and give it another try. I am so glad that I did because I have had the chance to review some very amazing blogs! My mouth and eyes just fly wide open in admiration of all of the awesome content inside of each blog that I have seen thus far.
I am also learning how to navigate the WA platform. I learn something new every time I login to the site. For example, I am learning that you can provide comments and feedback throught both the give and take thread as well as for community credit to be used to request your own feedback.
PLANS & GOALS (3 months)
Within the next 3 months, I plan to upgrade to the annual WA membership plan. I intend to buy my own brand domain name. And I also intend to login to WA daily and complete at least one training session, complete the tasks within, and continue to write at least one blog post per day instead of one to two per week.
PLANS & GOALS (6 months)
Within the next 6 months, I plan to be working on an Amazon Niche related blog and another blog associated with Motorcycles. I was thinking of going into the dress up niche for kids because my daughter who served 9 years in the Marine Corps decided to help her little cousin by taking in the baby so that the county would not take her. My daughter is always looking for dresses for the baby inside of some of the local stores only to be disappointed by what she finds.
The dresses at the local popular stores just are not what they used to be and she's tired of buying dress up clothes that contain popular cartoon characters. I thought of the Motorcycle blog because every since our mom died back in 2008, it's hard to put a smile on my little brother's face and he is a huge bike fan!
LET THE JOURNEY BEGIN!
I am very happy with my progress here at WA so far! It has been quite sometime since I have actually been excited just thinking up new ideas that I can put in a blog. I completely understand that building a blog that produces an income takes time, patience, dedication, and perserverance but now that I am a part of a team of experts my fear of the unknown has completely vanished.
Thank you in advance for reading my post. Cheers to your success!
