Encouragement is to give support, confidence or hope to someone.

Do you know when you should give someone encouragement?

I really believe that encouragement is something many people need daily. Did you know that by giving an employee encouragement daily will actually make them more confident and more productive. Of course this has to be done with sincerity. You need to see who is confident and who is unsure of themselves. I used to believe it was just children that needed encouragement but that is far from the truth.

I have given encouragement to many people, some truly appreciate it, others seem to careless. I have also received encouragement and am very thankful to these people. Everyone knows that person that is maybe not so confident. I know that I have known and do know many people like that. I love to help these people, it gives me fulfillment in my life. I am not looking for recognition it is just my way of paying it forward in society.

Growing up I was never good enough, I think most Asians can relate. My parents pushed us to be better but not by encouraging but more by criticizing. I understood later in life that they were proud of me but back then I rebelled. I only realized after college that I could do pretty much anything I set my mind too. This was the start to rid the negative out of my life. I would be lying to you if I said it was easy. But with encouragement and other positive people, especially here at WA. It is a lot easier!

Today is day 8 of trying to reach out to people and leave a positive comment to them.
