Chores
Hey, WA family!
Saturday is "Chores Day" in my house. After a long morning of cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and more it is now time to keep up with my chores on my website.
I have to get cracking because I need to finish writing a new post. However, since I've seen a lot of members asking for advice with regard to creating content, I'll give you an extra magic word I didn't mention on my last post: DISCIPLINE
If you want to build a successful online business you need to work on it regularly. You wouldn't expect to be paid on other jobs if you never showed up, would you? Same here.
You need to designate a time and space of your week to devote to your online business. Just like I have a "chores day", you need a schedule where you can keep track of how much time are you investing on to your website.
Having a schedule will give you a routine to follow so that you can develop good working habits. Also, having a day of the week designated to work on your online business will hold you accountable for your progress.
You know that nothing worth having is easily obtained, so keep working one day at a time and you will see results. Remember: Slow and steady, wins the race!
Bonus Tip!
Discipline doesn't have to be boring. Enjoy your journey! Choose something you are truly interested on and you will see the hours tick by.
I think that completing goals and accomplishments feels so good because you know the effort you put into it. You are proud of your own perseverance and of your own creativity. You don't believe me?
Think of daily tasks like getting dressed. You usually do not celebrate such things as accomplishments. UNLESS, and this is a big condition, unless it took all your energy, effort, and will to do it. Then it is an accomplishment, then we feel proud, then we celebrate.
Discipline can be one of the most rewarding virtues to cultivate. If you start to do it the right way, you'll find it hard to ever stop. It is all in how you see things, so try to choose your point of view wisely!
Have a great weekend, everybody!

Excellent points Majo. I follow a schedule cause I tend to get easily distracted, it helps a lot with my learning and productivity. Thanks for the link to Jays post, I missed that one.

Hey, Greg!
Thanks for stopping by. You are definitely right! I tend to get distracted even if I am on WA's platform. I used to write all my content in the builder within WA, but I find that I cannot focus if my notification button keeps going off.
Setting a schedule is now involving time devoted to engage in the community, and time to invest in building my content on my blog as different tasks. However, the experience has been totally worth the effort!
Have a good one,
Majo
PS: Jay's post was too loving and encouraging to leave it out of my article. :)
Tomorrow is my rest day, Florentino!
Those moments are really important too. Thanks for reminding me about it. :)

I just finished sweeping too. :)
Yey! Now you can get to rest a little bit and enjoy your clean house. :) (Plus, you can now focus on WA, whether you engage in the community as you did with your comment, or maybe look for some training, or maybe even writing some content!)
Thanks for stopping by!
Have a great day :)
