Quotes for never giving up
Hey there,
I'll be honest with you guys. A lot of times I feel like giving up on this for several reasons.
I joined WA 2 years ago (still can't believe it's already been 2 years) but I was not taking it seriously back then as I was still in school and was working as an intern. I also had the shiny object syndrome and was getting distracted by the many programs and courses that were being launched. Luckily I only fell for a pyramid scheme and at least it wasn't a high-ticket program.
Back in September 2017, I finally started taking this seriously and decided to put in the effort to see if this could work for me.
Some of my family members keep asking me about the results I'm getting and I usually don't tell them because they're not good. I mean, if they knew they would tell me to quit because none of them believes in this. And I don't want to quit because I don't want to get stuck in the corporate world.
I love reading success stories because I get an idea of what's possible to achieve, but I must admit that sometimes I compare myself to others and feel like I'm way too slow. It's horrible to feel like I'm not good enough for this.
When I find myself comparing to others, this is what I tell myself:
"They're different from you. Some of them got started some years ago, they speak another language and most of them are older than you. Some already have children and are more experienced than you. Even if they're doing something similar as you, there's no reason why you should compare to them because they're not in the same situation as you. Everyone has their time to shine."
Maybe there's someone who feels like this. I hope what I tell myself can help you and you will never give up. I know it's difficult to keep pushing forward when no one supports you. I know it's hard when you work hard for something and good results never seem to come. I believe the day when we see the light will come.
I have a vision board in front of myself and these are some of the quotes I usually read not to lose all my hope:
No matter what they say or do, don't give up. If someone doesn't want to see you doing well, it's not your problem. As long as you believe in yourself and take action, you can make it happen. Remember everything you've overcome and give yourself credit for it.

Your attitude and mindset is success in itself, Miren. Keep believing in yourself, and don't compare your work to anyone else. Stay focused on the meaning of those quotes, and you will accomplish much.

My parents often ask me how my website going. It doesn't make any money, but I say that it's going well in other ways. For me, that is true. I built it myself, I have researched and written 60,000 words, it is growing on a weekly basis, I'm getting better at it, and I'm (slowly) building some confidence with it.
I'm currently in the corporate world but don't want to be stuck there forever. For me, this is my way of trying to find a different path.
You have so much ahead of you. And you're right - comparisons with others don't take us far. You will certainly have your time to shine.
