I've created 3 pages (categories) but I'm not too sure that I want to keep the last one. I still feel funny sticking an "about me" page up on the site with a picture of an airplane that's supposed to me "me". I MUST break down and buy a digital camera (LOL).

It doesn't have to be all about you. Although it's good to say what has motivated you to set up the site - it's important to talk about what's in it for your visitors.
The about me page is important it helps to gain trust and an image of yourself increases that trust. Have you a webcam or mobile phone to take a quick pic?
My "mobile" phone looks like one of those old Captain Kirk (from Star Trek) phones. "Kirk to Enterprise, Kirk to Enterprise..." That may be before your time, however.
