Sharing The Wealthy Affiliate Experience!

Last Update: October 14, 2018

I thought I would take this opportunity to share a question've been working on, and haven't been able to answer yet.

How do I share my thoughts without sounding salesy?

If anyone who reads this has read my other blog posts, it's kind of obvious that I've been pretty geeked out since finding Wealthy Affiliate in February of this year!

I truly believe in the entire platform here at Wealthy Affiliate because I have been here for a while now, have built 2 successful websites that are starting to really grow in rankings and earnings! I know Wealthy Affiliate is for real! I believe in it!

One of my websites is used partly to promote Wealthy Affiliate. The other part is sharing things that I learn and have learned along the way.

The number one thing I have decided since getting started is that I will only promote products and services that I believe in and I won't call anything a scam or low quality just for the purpose of pushing what I promote. The goal is the truth!

In my mind it may make the process a little slower, but in the long run it will pay off!

Now the question!

The question is how do I share this great platform that I believe in with the world without sounding so salesy? I seem to fight that constantly!

I get excited and instantly morph into geek mode when I'm explaining W.A. to other people, and I sound like a used car salesman!

I recorded myself on a digital recorder answering a couple of questions about W.A. This exercise was staged so that I could play the audio back and listen to it. It was a gushing of positivity that quite honestly made me sound like one of the many scammers I have reviewed!

I don't tell people that they will make $5,000 by sunset like these other weirdos do, but I sound kind of like them in my ears and eyes !

Is it a problem or not?

I think that my Wealthy Affiliate review is a little over the top, but it is absolutely true! Sometimes I wonder if it comes off that way in my blog posts here as well!

I have read many other Wealthy Affiliate Reviews and while most of them are great and truthful, they don't sound the way I personally would say it. I have a pretty positive vibe, and I want that to come through!

I also think about people who read what I post here who are maybe on the free membership and thinking about upgrading. Does sounding salesy drive them away from doing that?

I would hate to think that someone that is looking a an opportunity that can potentially change their lives gets cold feet over this! The same can be said of my website! I don't want to be the used car salesman who chases people away!

Honesty

I'm not about talking money. It's not really my main concern. I struggled my way into owning a life sucking business that does really well financially. If I'm not a million dollar online entrepreneur in the next month, I'm still working on it, and I'm good with it!

I have made it a point to not put any income other than what the premium membership costs and my autoresponder and funnel software. Total is less than $100 per month !

I did this and will continue, because I will be lying to people if I start pouring funds into it! I want to do it the way I say it is done in my promotions. I will add that I'm not rich either! LOL

I want people to see the truth and make the decision for themselves, but I want to offer all the info possible to help them!

If I didn't believe in this training and the premium membership, I wouldn't tell people to invest their time into it, no matter how much or little money I can make!

What are your thoughts?

How do you feel about this? I would truly love to hear from the people who are on the free membership to find your thoughts too!

What is the perfect way to promote something that you totally believe in without being salesy?

have a great and blessed day! '

The best of success to you!

Mike

Honestly and in a simple conversation promote how the product or service could be of help to others. That's it!

Not selling, just promoting an opportunity.

As Russell Brunson says, you have to tell stories so that people can experience the “aha” moment for themselves. It may seem backward doing this, but stops you from “selling” the product. Try reading his “Expert Secrets” book if you haven’t come across it already.
All the best
