I would rather not. For eg. specialcakes.com. (I want), what I have to accept is specialcakes.siterubix.com?

Creating a sub domain in my domain name

Because SiteRubix is the tool to create domains and websites here in WA, so for the meantime your domain is connected to it. When you have a paid domain, SiteRubix will be removed and your domain will be http://specialcakes.com.
It's acutally a subdomain of SiteRubix if it's free.

Thanks accad,
Then I shall just start, I guess the benefit is that if it isn’t a goer I can delete with no financial loss, just my time.

You are welcome. I hope everything is fine with you.

Thanks Marion,
Am I silly or do I find this a hindrance? I did have a site with siterubix (still do), which I bought after setting up and creating and when I went to add Adsense, well because of the sub domain it wouldn’t accept it.

You don't buy a domain name with the siterubix.com extension, Michele. They are free. But if you want to have a real business then you need to own your own domain name.

Go to Websites > SiteDomains and buy one. It will cost you $13.99 for a dot com. And it's yours for as long as you keep paying for the yearly renewal.

Not only Adsense won't recognize a siterubix subdomain as a legitimate website. Most affiliate companies won't approve of you as an affiliate unless you own your own website.

If you want a domain name without siterubix.com then you have to buy a domain name. It will cost you about $14 a year.

Hey Michele,I work for Awin and I'm glad to help. Sounds like what you need to access instead is the merchant datafeed. That includes all of the information about each product, plus a picture of it. I can walk you through it if you'd like. You can also always find help in the Wiki, which is under the support tab.

I know that Amazon is familiar for you, but always remember that they have the lowest commission rates in the industry, plus a one-day cookie. So that means you are leaving a ton of money on the table. I'm guessing your building your site to make money for you, not Amazon.

Hi Jeannine
Yes love a walk through dot by dot ! Thank you, how do we do this
Michele

I'll reply to your PM.

Great thank you!!

Need to tell you, I have made some progress on Awin, actually have two banners on my site now! Yay

That's wonderful! Have you also added some text links for those merchants? Those will far outperform banners, and I want you to be successful!

OK will try to do text links sounds great.

Hi - if you are having problems, contact Jeannine, she works for Awin. https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/jeanninec

Protocol please; when using WA members success posts to promote your own affiliate website to gain converts

Hey Michele,

The following tutorial may offer you the help you seek: Hope you find this helpful.

Thankyou so much, great info WA is just amazing isn't it, so much here to be able to grow online
Michele

You will notice on every blog here in WA and training there is an Affiliate Link and you can use this to promote the blog on your site
Its a great idea to do this as it will hopefully help you with referrals
Vicki

Thanks Vicki,
Great info and we so need to showcase what success can be achieved!
Michele

You can use any members blog post on your website no problem.

This is actively encouraged by Kyle so no problem at all. As long as you use it honestly and for information and don't try and scam anyone, obviously.

When a prospect reads it, they will be able to read for a short time and will be asked to supply their email address, therefore you will get the referral.

RiseAnn
Thank you we just work together don't we piggy backing on each other!
Piggy backing not really the best term but we just help each other out!
Great
Thank you
Michele

I completed comment, but have concerns over fact that Author stated; I will give you discount, for first month 19.00, or words to that effect.

It's not 'I', it's the W

I've seen exactly the same claim on other sites promoting WA and yes, it's not honest. It's only true to say your first month's premium membership is $19, subsequently $49 a month and then lead into the 6 month and 12 month alternatives.

You were right to delete your comment and not leave it.

Leaving a comment pointing this out would just get rejected.

Thanks Phil,
I would PM him but how to this when I only have 'jason' to go on

Up to you, of course, but I'd suggest you forget it and move on.

Your right of course, not something that I would do though, give credit where credit is due. Yes?!!

Phil,
I thought I was following you! Well I am now!

Nice. Thank you.

You’re right, Michelemarie: that’s false advertising. The discount comes from WA, not the blog writer.

-Laurie

He is not doing himself any favours this way, I would be cross and distrust him if I clicked on his banner and found well, not his money, but Kyle and Carsons'!

so I can engage, but they can't offer advice or just reply

Hey Michele,

You may not be able to see the Reply and Actions buttons but others will. You do not need to reply to yourself.

You won't see a "Follow Michelemarie" button on your profile either, for the same reason... you don't need to follow yourself.

Hope this helps you.

In live chat when I post comment etc there is no reply action click button, why?
