Is this too broad of a niche? I'm new to the site and really don't know. I want to do a site that talks about different types of knives, flashlights, multitools and other types
Hello,
When you would create a site about "tools" that would be too broad...
In my opinion pocket carry tools are a perfect niche...
When I read your examples I think about camping or "the handy man", maybe you can search a term that covers all the tools you want to review, because probably you will not go to review some handy cell phone add-ons with pearls?
What I also saw was the word "everyday" pocket carry tools, that does specify things also a little bit more, but you still have some space to move...
But most of all: take a niche where you know you can write a lot about, cause you will have to, so keep some options open and do not narrow it too much...
Of course, this is a personal opinion... ;-)
Grtz,
Bert
Thanks Bert, that really helps alot! I'm still learning a lot through the seemingly endless content on this website. Haha, that example does make me laugh as I realize that I need to research keywords carefully to cover these.
Glad I could help a bit... First it was without the pearls, but then I realized it was possible you maybe wanted to do review's about phone add-ons and with pearls I was prettige sure you wouldn't... ;-)
Keywords are very important, but the most important is good content that people like to read...
