Request for Your Opinion

I Need Your Help
This weeks post isn't going to be my usual, here's where I am, here are my goals and so on post. This week is just going to be me asking you for your opinion and help.
I've been working on my new membership site and I have all the functionality worked out but I'm not happy with my landing page when you visit my URL.
I was hoping you might take the time to look at it and let me know what works, what doesn't and what you might change to make it more appealing.
I know that my placeholder posts need to be done. Right now, you just see Joe and I holding a halibut we caught in Alaska and no content as of yet. I'll be fleshing those out shortly.
I'm more interested in flow, the order of things displayed, if you'd change the actual text and titles of things, etc.
Any constructive criticisms are welcome. I'm hoping the WA community can help me get over this last hurdle.
You can find the page at https://angelpowwow.com.
Thanks again,
Scott
My only suggestion is that with the scrolling comments at the beginning you'd have to be a speed reader to read the message before the next one comes up. Are you able to slow the change down?
Great selection of sections and choices to interact.
What about security on private investing conversations?
Hope this helps and things are going better at home.

IMHO, your website's look/flow/feel maybe limited by the theme you have selected, however, you alone may know if some of the layout should/can be changed.
I may have missed seeing an "About Us" page, however, I would not want to add one, or any other pages, but rather make your website look/feel/flow like a ClickFunnels landing page.
In light of that "About US" page not being there, I would suggest that you display prominently midway or so on your "Home" page some of your background, experience, etc. as well as reasons why anyone should want to join your membership site.
As far as the look/feel most people do not care for too much text (other than the website's purpose mission, founders' background, experience, testimonials) and rather visual/audio as well as AI chat bots and pop-ops and gamification will ramp up your chances of getting new members.
If you need any help with those features in the paragraph above I will be happy to help you and you can see the difference.
Finally, here is some advice from a well respected marketer (not on point on the look/feel/flow of websites but useful for how the readers/visitors tend to react to textual/visual info and how to best prepare for the best outcomes):
"Conversion Tip
Whether you're writing an email, a blog post or something on social media, your readers are consuming it with short attention spans.
I’m sure that’s no big surprise to you. In fact, you probably browse the Internet at light speed, too, scanning titles and subheads, skipping to the bottoms of sales pages, and fast-forwarding through videos just so you can get to the next thing.
The same is true for your readers, and if you want to capture their attention long enough to entice them to opt-in to your mailing list, click on a link or take some other action, then you have to keep that in mind.
Have you ever noticed that everything you need to know about a news story is in the first paragraph? Journalists are trained to answer all the questions—who, what, where, when, why and how—in the first few sentences, just in case the story gets cut off when the paper goes to print.
In today’s online world, where column inches no longer matter, this type of story formatting isn’t quite so critical any more, but it’s still a useful tip to use when you’re writing your online content.
Think about it: If your readers are skimmers (as most of us are) then making sure you include the most important information (including links) right at the top of the page is going to greatly improve your conversion rates.
Don't bury it far down the page thinking you have to spend tons of time warming them up. You can do both! Give the brief info, then dive deep into it for those who want it."
Again please let me know if I can help you improve the look/feel/flow of your website and I think that you will see the difference. The rest is up to you.
Blessings!
