Hi everyone,

With June 6th being the 80th Anniversary of D-Day, I think back at my father and his 7 brothers all serving during WW II in Europe and the Pacific.

Emil Waller was at the Battle of the Bulge.

Dad served in the Pacific and he did weather recon just before one of the Atomic bombs was dropped on Japan.

They rarely talked about the war which is understandable.

My older brother served in the army and my younger brother and I served in the U.S. Marines.

Fortunately none of us saw any combat. I don't wish that on anyone.

So Thanks Dad & your brothers for defending the USA and other countries in the world at a time when it was greatly needed!
