Keep Pushing Yourself Beyond Any Imagined Boundaries
(Cover photo: Man pushing boulder up hill)
Hi everyone,
Previously I mentioned Chat AI were hallucinating while translating a document from French to English.
So I went back and broke up the text I gave to Grok 2 to just 2 or 3 paragraphs at a time and it did a very good job this time around.
I have submitted my first ever translation as a book and ebook to KDP Amazon.
I feel more comfortable doing this again with short documents.
This turned into a 26 page book with 12 font.
I used Grok 2 to create the cover.
I feel proud of myself for being persistent and not giving up on this.
Still no more word from Jeff Brown. Maybe next week I'll reach out to Monica again as it will be September and Jeff did allude in a post or comments about coming back in Sept.
Next up for me is more training on Public Domain Content and soon starting to create a Course on Udemy.
Never a dull moment here! :-)

Awesome Mel, you are on a roll! We are limited only by what we think we are capable of, the reason we have evolved and innovation happens is because many people out there stretch their imagination to "their possible" which is far beyond what most people think.
Keep dreaming big, keep working hard. Brilliant thigns can and will happen! ;)
I love Grok 2, I use ChapGPT as well and lastly Cluade is great for writing. Its almost like what is the flavor of the week, Frank.
Grok 3 is supposed to be coming in December and be able to outperform all other Chat AI's. With Elon Musk behind it, I can see that happening.

Mel,
I don't know you personally. However,
I do understand about not giving up and pushing through with resiliency.
I have found WA to be a community of writers not speakers. Therefore, words in my mind needing to be in print does wake me up at night.
Solution: Small task lists.
Eating an elephant one bite at a time.
Sometimes I start a task to see how important it is in my life. Add it to a daily routine and see if I can accomplish a streak.
What I find is the task doesn't breed success itself. It creates the feeling that I tried and I think about how I could have done the task better.
Yes. It's important to write down a timestamp of what we accomplished to know that feeling in print. That you accomplished that...no one else.
A writer knows what it takes to get emotions written down so others can feel.
I was debating whether to go back to sleep before an early podiatry appointment this morning.
I decided to introduce myself in thought rather than look up at the ceiling or toss and turn trying to get a couple of hours of sleep.
