AI Does Not Necessarily Affect Our Thinking In a Negative Way
Hi everyone,
There has been a lot of talk about AI negatively affecting our ability to think and everyone is entitled to their opinion.
This is my take on it.
What's the difference between AI being your very smart friend and an actual human friend?
Is your thinking impaired in any way when you listen to your human friends sharing with you?
Learning from people you consider smarter can significantly enhance your personal growth by providing new perspectives, challenging your thinking, and offering valuable guidance.
So why would AI be any different?
As many of you are aware from previous posts, I used Super Prompts to create AI mentors and they have helped me immensely.
Something to think about.
AI is here and its here to stay. Learn to maximize the benefits from working with it.

I too consider AI a great mentor. I do not feel that it has diminished my ability to think, to know right from wrong. It may all be in the questions we ask. I feel that I have been helped to see things clearer, have a better idea of a proper blog structure, or video content.
I am more consistent when using suggestions from AI.
However, I am always reading suggestions attributed to AI that make me know how limited I have been in using this tool. Many users are deeper in the use of this tool than I am.
Maybe in the future, AI will influence my thinking, at the moment if is a great helper.
Thanks ,
Sami

Personally, I'm not a fan of AI. From my experience it is more opinion based than fact based.
A good example: I asked it what the benefits were of having a cat as a pet. AI's response mainly listed the negative aspects of owning a cat. When I asked what the benefits were of having a dog as a pet, it listed mainly positive benefits of owning a dog.
When using Google, I always skip past the AI summary at the top, as I've learned that's not the place to go if you want accurate information. If I scroll down I can find trusted sources for the information that I need.
AI is only as good as the information that is fed into it. There's a lot of garbage out there right now.
Thanks for sharing Cynthia!
