Some Tips For New Wealthy Affiliate Members
Like you, I was new here at Wealthy Affiliate a little over
2 months ago. I can honestly say that this program really works. Depending on
how you would look at it - I have created a website and in the process of
building another one in a different niche. I have made money for gas and some
more left to eat out for a party of 3…lol…So I can say that it works for me. If
you are looking for the real thing – this program is as good as it gets.
A few tips:
1) Don’t look for a magical system that can bring you loads of cash at the flip of a switch.
This program requires focus, hard work and patience. The first dollar you will earn
is going to be so sweet because it will be the fruits of your labor.
2) Follow, follow, follow the step by step training – this will give you the direction you need to obtain your goal. That is to build your own website and have your own online
business.
3) Ask lots of questions – remember there is no stupid question. All kinds of questions and
comments are accepted. The community is here to help; you just need to ask.
4) Work at it and follow through – once you have created your website per the step by step
training you would need to focus on creating your contents and follow through.
There will be days that you don’t want to do anything – like be a couch potato
and relax (I sure like to do that one of these days, but I have real
responsibilities). I do have a full-time job, an online business and my 85 year
old mother who has been in and out of the hospital the past 30 days (special thanks to my sister because we help each other take care of her daily).
You don’t need 8 hours to build your website; you don’t need
24 hours to create your contents. Set aside an hour here and there. It is for your business after all.
You need to have the drive to build your business. Be passionate. Write down your goals and what you want to accomplish. Every day will be a learning experience. Test and tweak.
I enjoy being with all of you here in the community.

tips, please leave me a comment.
Good luck on your journey! Start small but dream big!

Thanks for this. Keep wondering if only a few hours a day if lucky is enough. From what you say I guess putting in what ever I can will help rather than packing it in until I have more time, but that will be years from now. Thanks for the boot of confidence,
I saved an hour hear and there during the week building my website but I was putting in a lot of hours on the weekends. You will be surprised where focus and perseverance can get take you. Best of luck to you.
You have said it so well. A little time here and there adds up to a lot at the end of a week! You have done a lot in a short time MEL, keep it up! Lydia.
Mel, that's great information. I agree with you, it doesn't take long to write something and put it up on the website, and it only takes a little longer to make it quality, but not a whole day. The only thing I would add, is don't panic. If something hasn't been covered in the training yet, don't ask so you can skip ahead, just know you aren't up to that stage yet :) I see so many wanting to know how to add an affiliate to a website they've only got one page for!!
