"Customize" Your Site With Dashboard Or Appearance "Customize"
I know some options vary per Theme, but I just wanted a reminder of the Options my Theme has plus maybe help others see where to Look for the options their Theme has to offer as far as changing Website Title, Taglines, Background Color/Image, etc
First I Click on Dashboard in Top of left WordPress Toolbar.
Then I Click "Customize Your Site".
You can also Hover over Appearance in WordPress Left toolbar and click on "Customize" to get to this Location.
I mention this other path because sometimes WordPress can be strange and not show the first "Customize Your Site" Option.
Then in left Toolbar I find My Theme ("Twenty Twelve" is the Theme I am using) has the Following Options:
Site Title & Tagline
Colors
Header Image
Background Image
Navigation
Widgets
Static Front Page
I can only hope this helps some people who are not aware of this information, or just to remind of this information because of so much information to learn overwhelming them which can make it hard to keep a clear mind sometimes.
Thanks For Your Time,
Michael

Good reminder, and helpful in your early stages when trying to get to know your theme/site and more important where to find this information?
Good info, I agree that it is a bit overwhelming, so as soon as I am done with all the training I will start from the bginning again and see what I missed the first time. Sure it's a lot

Oh I see now. I found these options before but I guess my theme just doesn't have the background or header image options :( but thanks for this great info!
Kristina, Yes Themes vary in many ways. I have had to change my favorite Theme because after an update it quit having places for comments, or as you mention, I have had to change Theme because not having the options I wanted for customizing my Header, Backgrounds, and etc. Glad the info helped some!
