"spammers, hidden in plain sight."
Spammers are potential scammers who are hidden in plain sight here.
When rules are established and people continue to use their links openly, they have taken a path to not only spam but also to tarnish the platform.
Why are they here?
Probably, they are here to make a quick profit through self promotion. Who knows?
At times, they may be perceived as the sharpest knife in the drawer. But, they aren't, at least not to me.
They want to change things and criticize rules because of a monthly or yearly payment.
Money money money money! It is the root of all wrong doings.
This is not right!
If these spammers are allowed to continue in their craft, they could cause threat to a well established and honest platform. This should not be allowed to happen.
Clearly, several rotten apples could spoil the whole bunch.
My friends, a rose is a rose.
But, a spammer is a potential scammer who is out to do no good.
And so, when spammer(s) are hidden in plain sight, the effect of their craft is that much worse for the community. Again, we should not allow them to take root. We have to work together on this one.
Be on the alert to expose them.
Until next time
Maxine

Seasoned affiliates should be dealt with swiftly. I am not an expert in how.
But, newcomers should be warned and given an opportunity to improve.
These are my thoughts.
Thank you for stopping by, Derek.

Also, if an affiliate action supports flagrant scamming, he or she should be withdrawn from Wealthy Affiliate immediately.
That is my humble suggestion.
Derek, ponder no more!
A wolf in sheep's clothing is always revealed.

There are really scammers that have entered WA but they are easily identified because we know how they talk, and their strategies.
Jimmy, they are very clever.
Even seasoned affiliates have commented on their blogs. And, what about our newbies who just got here ?
From today and onwards, I will not give them " a like" or "a comment".
The experts here will handle them, not me.

Yes it is my option, Jimmy.
I would feel very sad advancing a cause of corruption. Supporting them would be doing just that!
My mission is to help people who are seeking solutions to their problems.

Yeah, I was definitely spammed by responding to Site Comments once. I gave Feedback mistakenly, my bad, but I was directed by the poster to go back and give a comment. I did, but in order to do so I had to sign up for his news letter to see what he was saying in the post. Clever trick, and all I got out of it was an inbox full of spam!
Sorry to hear that, Pete.
The rules are here to protect us this type of vicious backlinking.
Again, be on the alert to expose these characters.

I’ve been seeing quite an increase in Spammers lately and have been wondering if anything is ever done...like their account being suspended/terminated.
It would be nice not to have to worry about scammers and pervs on here.
Thank you for your comment, Amy.
I have no idea what is done.
As for me, I will not support them anymore. Trying to help us useless.
Peace

Hi Maxine. I fully agree with you. We are here to learn from each other and not spam and spoil it for the rest of us who actually want to learn and not be scammed into something we dont need.
You are right about that, Marvin.
Learning is positive without soammers.
We need a fair chance to learn the right way.
When I see it, I am not pleased at all.
