How to Succeed Online
Hey all. A question was asked about how we can succeed online. Here is my response, short and to the point.
Do the WA entrepreneurs training in full
Build a website on a niche you love and/or know a lot about
Research loads of low-competition keywords
Write TONNES of keyword-focused posts, publishing a post once every 2 to 3 days
Keep that up for at least a year
When you have a lot of traffic, begin to monetize through affiliate links and/or ads
That, in a nutshell, is the WA method of success online
If anyone wants to add anything else I've missed or that might be helpful, feel free!
God bless

Thanks, so much, Matt.
As hard as it is sometimes, and wanting the money to come in ASAP, preferably in 2-4 weeks, is just not realistic, and it takes time to build an audience, not to mention ranking on your subject.
The focus needs to be on building an audience and building relationships with them, not just in your blog, but in email marketing. Thinking of your website as a business and a carreer, and that takes time. It's a marathon, not a spring. It sucks, but that's how it is.
It's best to think of it as a long term investment, but an immediate money maker. Any money you make if the site is young won't be very much anyway. It's a numbers game
Agreed, Matt. It's all about bringing traffic in and having value, so yeah, it takes time. :)
Spot on Matt!
Realistically, it will take 6 months to a year before you see much traction! That's why you shouldn't add affiliate links too early. The focus should be on building, and thinking long-term.
I mean, this is a real business, right? It takes time, patience, persistence & commitment!!
Cheers,
Suzanne
Very well said, Matt!
People should not try to do too much too fast, because if they do, there is a good possibility that they might run into problems later!

Those are the foundational building blocks of an online business. Once you have that in place though and understand the process of "building" out your website, then you can attain traffic in many ways. These include social media, Youtube traffic, paid traffic, and through email marketing campaigns.
You can spread your wings once you have a foundation, but not until that point. The key is getting that firm foundation in place at the outset of your business. :)
Perfect blog post, thanks for sharing. I specifically like "When you have a lot of traffic, begin to monetize through affiliate links and/or ads"
