I was reading a review about the pros and cons about affiliate marketing and it states a minimum of 15k.

That's a lot of money for the typical person in this day and age

Hello Lee,

There are two main ways to do affiliate marketing. The first is to use the magic of Search Engine Optimization to build traffic, get ranked on page 1 of the search engines and use email marketing, all to find paying customers. This is the primary approach taught in Wealthy Affiliate.

The advantages are it is an extremely low-cost way to build an online business. The disadvantages are this takes time. You have to learn the skills to make this happen.

The second way is to use paid ads as well as Pay Per Click methods. By far, this is faster as you do not have to rely on SEO to get the same results. The disadvantages are it will cost you money. How much depends on many factors. I doubt you will need $15K right at the start. Even with this method, there is a learning curve to do it most effectively. Wealthy Affiliate also teaches this method, but not as strongly.

The ideal approach in my opinion is to start off the organic way (using SEO) until you build traffic and a following to the point where you are earning a regular monthly income. Then use paid ads and PPC to scale up your business so that you are earning $5K monthly.

Kyle is an expert on the paid approach. Send him a PM and let him know you are interested in this approach.

If you are looking for a way to just buy success, that is not going to happen.

I hope this helps.

Cheers.

Edwin

thanks, after much deliberation i think i will try the "ideal" approach it seems to be my best option.

Great choice indeed!

There's no definitive answer to your question, as there are many elements to the equation; no two people or two niches are the same; it depends on the focused niche you choose, the content you write, the choice of keywords, and how well you understand the process. However, I have known folks to earn their first sale in two weeks, others in three months, and more so in a few more months.

If you follow the training, and learn how to choose the right niche with using the right keywords - in time you can build a sustainable successful business for about 10% of that — or less!

It’s not a matter of dollars invested it’s a matter of your time and commitment that you invest!

The person stating that was likely trying to sell you a product that was $15K. You can operate your business without much expense these days, and we have you covered within your membership.

If you are going to head into paid advertising (which is certainly not a requirement), I recommend that you start out with a minimum of $1,000 budget and then grow that proportionally and organically with the revenue you generate from it.

You can absolutely get lots of traffic, and drive revenue to your business (and full time revenue) without every spending a dime on ads though.

Hey Lee,

If your main objective is simply to make money, you will find yourself spinning your wheels.

However, like Kyle shows in his training, you need to focus your efforts on finding what people WANT and helping them get it, and NOT what you want them to have or think they need.

Once you get that part right, you will be leaps and bounds ahead of the average student.

I explained this concept here: Hope you find this helpful.

Hey Lee,

Being as you've already got offered 2 great resources on how to embed your images in the new WordPress block editor, thought you might want to know how you can move your image once it is embedded.

If so, here's a tutorial to help you: Hope you find this helpful.
