Spamming Doesn't Work. Don't Be A Spammer
Hello there!
I'm not sure what sparked this thought but I believe it is something beginngers especially might struggle with. Somehow there's a popular notion that online business is a get rich quick scheme of sorts so many people are looking for exactly that when they get into this business.
I clearly remember when I was starting, I felt slow to be perfectly honest with you. I felt like I was missing something because someone else who started with me had this big fancy site with all this content and flashy things...why couldn't I get a site up this quickly? I pondered.
It was really busy. Really tacky actually, lol, but to a new comer's mind & eyes, it looked nice. This person was active in the community and often bosted about their fancy site.
When this happens its also easy to assume the person is successful but thats not always the case. It definitely wasn't in this case. The boaster wasn't making a thing from that fancy site.
Me on the other hand, I'm very maticulous. I would say extremely maticulous. I'm the tortoise with glue on her feet because I go over things a million times before I submit it, chronic over thinker and see things that most people probably overlook.
Often the last person or one of the last people to finish anything in a world built for speed & instant gratification, I really did feel like something was wrong with me for being so slow.
I remember complaining to some more experienced people in the chat here. Their response was comforting and not what I expected. I expected to be told that I have to concentrate or research or work harder or something to the effect of me having to do more. But they didn't.
They said just keep going. Keep checking through things and it will pay off when I don't have to do so much editing later on down the road. They said that I'm actually doing it the way its supposed to and it doesn't happen quickly. Some shared their different stats with me and I didn't quite understand then but I trusted them because they're the experts with results I want.
Fast forward several years later, I am so thankful for those people who guided me in the right direction. I have posts making me money now that I haven't did much work to since back then.
These posts/guides are still standing firmly in the top results for their keywords through all the Google updates & with the original publish date showing on the posts. Circa 2017. I'm so embarrased but proud at the same time.
But I don't say this to brag. I want to help demonstrate that you get out of your site what you put into it.
If you throw up fast, cheap content aka crappy content, you get crappy results. If you put up quality content, you get quality results.
So don't be tempted or persuaded by ABC Big Mouth who brags about how much more times they post a week and you don't even make half of what they're doing. Even giving them the benefit of the doubt, you will last a lot longer taking your time to produce quality content over quantity.
Somewhere in the training it talks about creating content that lasts even through all of Google updates. When you create quality content you won't have anything to worry about. Maybe because of laws you have to add some disclaimers or updates with technology, etc but as for the site, it will be just fine.
Anyways, the moral of the story is:
Be a good human & say no to spamming. Take your time to create a continuous masterpiece. A work of art. Something that you are proud of.
Others who aren't in this business won't understand. Don't try rushing the process to prove a point. You'll quickly burn out that way too.
I hope this helps encourage you if you need it. Keep up the good work and I am proud of you through whatever stage you are on your journey.
Take care and have a blessed day, week, & year 2022.

You're on point, Marlinda.
The training emphasizes creating quality content and prioritizing helping people over selling.
Thank you for sharing your experience.
Best wishes.
Great post. You are very encouraging to all those new on the platform and in the community. It is better to take it slow and learn the different techniques taught here. That is the way to grow your business for years to come.

Thank you! Very well thought out. Good points! I am on the slow path myself and making progress each week.
