Welcome, One and All

I was debating with doing a blog post for just new members or everyone here at WA and then thought we are all here for the same reason, right?

Therefore, I have addressed this to one and all meaning the new members as well as the members who have some time here at WA!

This blog is mostly for the new members who are joining or for some who may have been absent from the platform for some time.

As most of us because this is not always the case, we do have some young people that are working very hard, but I am speaking of the adults might I bring up a few points.

Carson and Kyle built this platform for anyone who is willing to follow in their footsteps and build themselves a thriving business online.


They set rules in place for a reason this is not for people to ignore them and do what they please or to abuse the people that tell them kindly they are breaking these rules!

Site Comments

This seems to be another area in which members are posting on almost a daily basis because they are getting terrible, unrelated, or short sloppy comments.

The comments you leave for a member are printed on the website for the world to see and if you have a gravatar account your picture and name goes on it.

I created a training and please if you are not sure - use it to follow when you are leaving comments on member's websites. Here is the training:

In time, you are going to have to request comments for your website and these do cost us time to earn the ones we leave so if you want good comments please leave good comments :)

Live Chat

When I first came to WA as a Premium Member I did lesson after lesson and yes I would get confused and stuck - I am shy at first so I did not use Live Chat to ask questions.

For hours, I would work and work to figure out the things I did wrong. After about three weeks I started to go and watch Live Chat it became so interesting that I would read along for hours.

At that time I learned many things that were not in the lessons and started to apply some of these tips as I was working on my website making things easier.

Finally, one day after working on a problem for over six hours, I venture into Live Chat and asked a question - the people were helpful and I managed to fix the problem quickly.

Today Live Chat where I would spend so much time helping members has changed not saying that it is all bad just it has changed.

Members are being disrespectful which is not acceptable on this platform ever; we give up our valuable time that we could be working on our website building our business to help others.

Pay it forward is what Carson and Kyle set this platform up to be all about when one member succeeds we all succeed for we are here to support each other and help each other.

I realize we all have our own opinion on everything under the sun but to contradict members in Live Chat because of one's own opinion is wrong :(

To correct a member because they have given an incorrect answer is fine but do it with manners and be polite about it - I had no problem apologizing for an answer I gave wrong!

In Closing

Would you take the time to really consider what I have put in this blog post I know this is the holiday season starting with Thanksgiving this Thursday.

WE ALL need to be thankful to Carson and Kyle for giving us this opportunity to build the business we have always wanted and make money online working from home :)


Yes, everyone has a bad day now and then but would it hurt you to apologize the following day if you were inappropriate towards someone?

PS - Just an after thought the other day in replying to a blog post the mention was made that we say "thank you" all the time we need to mean it and if you care about people let them know daily tomorrow is never promised and a "Love you" can go a very long way :)

as adults rules are made to be broken - but I just keep going

It is actually scary to see how many times must people be reminded to act with good manners towards each other. You don't down grade yourself by being polite.

Thanks a bunch. Not that I would ever be disrespectful to someone: it’s not my style, but it’s nice to know that there are rules set for communicating here. Will definitely be checking out these links. I find myself overwhelmed at times with the amount there is to learn and I think I miss a lot along the way. I have read blogs of members who have been here for years
that miss things in the training or from blogs - do not feel bad!!

When I find a new member who has broken a rule I am kind
enough to give them warning to please check the rules and
then I let it go :) Others are not that kind just saying.

This is a great review. Doesnt matter if we are newbies or have been around for a while.

There is nothing wrong with a refresher. This is a fast paced community and sometimes we just need to slow down.

Kyle and Carson have built rules in because they know what works and what doesnt.

I am always here in WA, but I stay quiet and just do my stuff.
And recently, I observe that there are new members who act like... they rule the world.

I salute, you guys, who are always in the Live Chat-- spending your own time trying to help people/members.

Aaaaw thank you - it is some days draining dealing with
some of those members but I love helping people and
that is what stinks when I get the ones who think they
know more than they seriously really do :)

Great post and you did a great job on it too. I wrote a similar post about have respect and manners. I don't know why people can just be kind to one another.

That doesn't make any sense to fly off the handle at someone for giving wrong information we all make mistakes and we are all human.

We all need to have respect and manners with one another. You can look up my post from a day ago and check it and let me know what you think about it.

This seems like it is becoming a problem and that needs to be addressed right away so it does not get out of hand. In my opinion, we are all adults and we need to act according. but of course, that is my own opinion.

I agree with whole heartily about this but it is a problem though. Everyone here has been good so far I haven't had a problem. But others have and it is not right by a long shot.
