$2,000 for 1 blog post

So I woke up this morning and checked my email inbox like any other day but this time I had an email from a guy asking me if I could remove a blog post of my blog that I published 10 months ago, he offered me 1,000 dollars to remove it from google, it was a negative review about a mlm company that I was part of a year ago.

Of course I didn't make any money with them, I joined this mlm company before finding WA, this post was bringin me 10 visitors a day for the last couple of months, after thinking it a little bi I decided to take the offer but tried to negotiate it first and we agreed that I would remove the post for 2,000 usd.

So I made 2,000 just for one post that I wrote in 4 hours, I'm reinvesting part of that money intobmy business.

That has never happened to me before, what do you guys think?

I honestly was shocked of this story. I'm into MLMs, but I choose the companies I'm joining, picking only the best. Respecting your style, well congratulations for that. Life's full of surprises, isn't it?

I had something similar happen last week but it wasn't an offer. It was:

"You are hereby notified that an administrative proceeding has been commenced against you pursuant to the Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy, adopted by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers."

It was all very official looking and I ended up taking the review down because I have better things to deal with. It was a bit unnerving tho, not sure what they could really do to me.

I hope your offer works out for you.

I don't think they could do anything, why would Kyle teach us how to make those kind of reviews in the first place, as a blogger you can talk about anything you want as long as you are telling the truth, just my opinion.

Yep - it wasn't the content, it was the domain name. I had something very similar to the company that was taking action. Of course they did not like the content either :)

Somebody also commented a while ago on my MOBE negative review, someting like you are going to get sued blah bla and posted a link to a mobe video where the owner was talking about how he was going to sue WA, he didn't mention WA but it was pretty obvious, just bs, how could a company which is banned in many countries and is based in Malaysia sue WA a great company that actually helps people, of course nothing happened.

Oh I see.

Great deal! Must have been a hell of a post...

I jus told the truth

People are most afraid of the truth!

You're right

It is great, Mario! Congratulations!

thanks.

I think this is really FANTASTIC and maybe I could do the same???

Probably.

Wow that was strange

it was.

Which MLM is this, to warn others?

I prefer not to tell.

So their HUSH MONEY has worked!!!!!!!!!!

That is very rare. Be careful when you put out bad info regarding a company. They can come after you via a lawsuit for defaming them.

I don't think so, that is why we have our privicy policy page, have you taken the Wealthy Affiliate's bootcamp? There's training about making this kind of reviews.
