Theme Settings Restored With a New Plugin
Hi friends,
Earlier today I wrote about losing my theme settings with the latest update to WordPress. Now I'm oh so very happy to report that cryout creations have fixed the problem.
I lodged a support ticket at wordpress.org Tempera theme support forum and while I was having dinner they sent me a reply
"To restore the settings page to a functional state, search for and install the Cryout Serious Theme Settings plugin in your Wordpress. Once activated, the theme's settings page will return to working condition.
We've implemented this solution for all our themes in the same plugin, so it only needs to be installed once no matter which of our themes you use (or switch to in the future)."
How good is that?
Now I can happily upgrade to WordPress 4.4.

Thanks for sharing this. I upgraded to the new WordPress version this morning and did not see any changes, but it is good to know this is available.
Sorry Robert, you'll need to contact the support forum for Supernova theme. This fix is for cryout creation's themes.
Marion I actually fixed it myself simply by doing loads of trial and error.
It took a bit of doing but hey ho its working now.

I'm glad you got it sorted Robert. I gave up trying to tweak Supernova last night (the slider wouldn't work properly) and changed to a different theme. I still have a bit of work to do on that site - it usually sits on the back-burner.
As I said it took a lot of trial and error and tweaking this, that and the other until everything fell into place.
You'll do it as well Marion and if not then there are other themes just as good if not better.
Have you tried Frontier.
Its really good and so easy to use.
