Pretty Links Test
Yesterday I added a new training video on Pretty Links which was a little incomplete because I forgot to mention that the plugin keeps track of your hits and unique hits.

Anyway, I tested my Pretty Link http://blogwithwp.com/video to see what would actually happen. Go ahead and click the link and you'll see what I saw (◠‿◠✿) Yeah! Google had already indexed my fake affiliate link and pointed to the training video.
Today I'm making a new video (more details to come) and I'm using the same website and, of course, I'm going to be creating some new Pretty Links.
Imagine my surprise when I saw that I'm not the only one who checked out my Pretty Link.
Yeah! 5 Hits / 5 Unique Hits.

Marion, I am not able to see the page either. I am attaching a screenshot of what I see when I click on it.
Now I get it. You're using Firefox and I'm using Chrome. Personally I prefer Google's search bar as Firefox doesn't search for content just the literal dot com which of course can't be found because it doesn't exist.
Aha! I checked Google search in Chrome and found this, which led to this...http://blogwithwp.com/music-sting/
OMG! That was changed to a 'Draft' page. Not meant for public viewing. One of my WA friends composed a music intro for me for my new course which will be published shortly. Whew! The URL goes to a 404 Page Not Found.
Already indexed? That is so awesome, but I can't see what you saw by clicking the link...it says webpage is not available. I believe you though :-) Regardless, your training was excellent.

Marion, I'm not quite sure what you mean here....could you explain that a little deeper please?

@Mark1957 My browser of choice is Chrome which, of course, uses Google as the search engine. Other browsers may use different search engines. When I used my Pretty Link in Chrome Google looked for instances of an exact match to the characters I entered as part of the content in a page and found my WA training. The other browsers may use a different search engine which only looks for http://blogwithwp.com/video as a web page and because it doesn't exist returns a 404 page not found error.
Does that make sense?
