Can You Make Money In A Week Using Your Free SiteRubix Account?

I see many new members ask if they can make money within a week of joining here, using nothing but their free SiteRubix account.

I have seen this asked many times since I joined, several years ago.

In short, I would like to answer that if I may.

The answer to that is YES!

Kyle and Carson do not give free things away for the fun of it!

The free website is a great FREE tool to help you get started!

It's not to be the only tool of course, but they provide more than enough tools & training to help you get started as a very successful affiliate marketer!

But, (and here's that but) there are many things that factors into rather you actually do make money or not.

How Well Can You Juggle Mental Tasks?

First, if you join and do nothing, then you will make nothing, nada, zip, zilch, not a single penny.

Second, if you listen to some nay sayers here (no offense to anyone please but we do have some negative people here), you will make nada, nothing, zip, zilch, not a single penny.

Third, if you think, say, believe that it's too hard....you will make nothing, nada, zip, zilch, not a single penny.

So, I will address these 3 very important principles, to show you exactly how you can use the free resources provided here (and a few other free services), to start making money THIS week!

The first thing you need to do, is of course choose a niche.

Do NOT overthink this!

Do not worry if it's the right niche, a good niche, or a popular niche, just choose a NICHE.

I once tested a "can not win" niche to see if I could make money with it, and believe it or not, I did.

I sold POOP, there is good money in poop, and there are people who will buy many things poop related!

So simply choose a niche, choose a free SiteRubix name to match that niche, if it's taken, select another word, and get your blog started!

Go through the training you have access to, including the affiliate boot camp. Do not take notes, do not try to memorize anything, just go through the training and do as it instructs!

One can feasibly complete all of the training in one day if they can multi-task (you will see what I mean in a moment).

You do not need to learn everything on day one, you will never learn everything in 300 days, so basically go through the training and get a grasp on what you will need to do to get started, the expertise will come with time!

Once you have your blog up, get in the "I have a job mentality". Do not procrastinate, do not spend time chatting on Facebook or looking at TikTok videos that are useless.

Start spending your time with an "Is this productive for me" attitude. If it's not productive, do not do it!

If you want part-time money, then work however many hours per day you wish, and expect a part-time income (if any) to flow.

Remember, you are new to this, and the traffic to your new, sub-domain blog will not come without effort. So do not expect much income at all if you do not work this like a real business.

If you want full-time money, then you need to put in full-time hours! This means 40 hours per week, bare minimum.

So you say you already have a full-time job? Fine, work part-time hours.

You say you go to school? Fine, work part-time hours.

You say you have no time to work 40 hours a week? Fine, work part-time hours, and reap your part-time rewards.

You are most certainly not going to make money within a week. You are actually wasting your time reading this post.

OK, now we go back to that 40 hour workweek. When I say 40 hours, I mean 40 hours WORKING.

Not browsing on Facebook, not talking on the phone with your computer going.

I mean act as if your boss is standing over your shoulder every single second of your working hours. Because guess what, he or she is! YOU are your boss.

• If you were paying someone to do the tasks you have set out to do, how would you want that person to complete them?
• Would you get upset if they were caught on Facebook goofing off, while you provide the pay?
• If this would upset you, then do not do this to you! Stop wasting your time (money) and stop procrastinating.
• Make yourself boss and employee; retrain your brain with a "OK, stop with the nonsense, stop wasting my time and money, and let's stay busy in a very productive way." mentality.

So, this means you need to set aside 8 hours a day, to devote to your new business.

Now, take it from me, I know full well how time restraints can put a damper on things.

Right now I am going to college full-time (to improve my knowledge for my best niche), with a full course load.

I do not work, because I don't need to now, but there was a time that I was working 2 jobs, one part-time, one full-time, and raising 4 children on my own as a single parent.

Many eons ago, long before wealthy affiliate, google and eBay, I made up my mind to become an IMW. When I signed up for that membership, years ago, I made up my mind to work hard and learn everything I could to make my life better for myself and my children.

If I can do it, as a single parent, then ANYONE can do it.

Find those 8 hours somehow. Write on your blog using your phone when you are at a Dr appt. Do not worry about spelling, you can fix that later, just save as a draft and keep adding content!

Dictate your content as you are driving down the road, just be sure to place your phone by your side. I put mine in my cup holder. You do not want to hold your phone while driving.

Waiting in line at the grocery store? This is a great time to catch-up with your learning! Just pop some earbuds or air pods in your ear, and watch the training videos that are provided here.

Do you watch TV? Well, I am not going to say stop it, because a brain break is always a good thing, but while watching it, keep a notebook handy and toss ideas around in your head.

Write them down!

You will be surprised at what you can think of, when you are in a more relaxed state of mind. Who knew TV time could be so productive????

All it takes is one great idea to take you from full time hours, to part-time hours with more than full time income!

Now that we have work schedule set, lets' cover the one thing that really gets to me when a newcomer asks about affiliate programs.

Can a free SiteRubix site get approval from some larger affiliate programs? Nah, nope, ain't gonna happen.

Instead of trying to become the next AdSense king or queen, become a Clickbank SUPERSTAR!

Clickbank is great about accepting just about any site, so is JVZoo (thanks for that tip Catherine!) Amazon also (although I do not recommend Amazon just yet, at this stage), heck there are many places that accept newcomers with very open arms!

Instead of worrying about how to get approved for AdSense or some other ad network, focus on those things you CAN get approved for even if you only have a blank blog online!

Heck, I can spend 10 minutes online right now, and have a Clickbank ebookstore (with hundreds of products) up and running with my clickbank affiliate ID, all by making use of free resources I have found online! Why would I want to stress getting approved for anything?

I don't stress it, and neither should you. As your website and experience grows, then you will find that acceptance for many ad networks is NOT a problem!

Fun Fact: I sometimes have fun tossing up a new blog to see if I can get accepted by companies on Commission Junction. Those that accept me, despite my new blog, are the ones I focus on, especially in the pet niche! The ones who deny my new blog, certainly will never be placed on my sites with very very obscene amounts of traffic.

Again, do not stress it if you do not get accepted by certain affiliate programs. You do NOT need them, but they certainly need you! There's many many other programs that will accept you with open arms.

One of the best affiliate programs you can promote, you already have approval for! The WA affiliate program here!

Toss up some WA banners on your blog, go to Canva, make some banners that are related to your niche, put up some text that says "Wealthy Affiliate Works For Me, Let It Work For You Too!" (or something like that) And get those banners showing on your website!

Heck, do a search here, there's several members who have made some great banners that we all can use to promote WA with.

Add a few product banners from Clickbank or jvzoo products, and leave your blog at that for right now.

Next, write at a minimum, 5 posts of 1000+ words each.

Make 4 of them helpful posts. The 5th post needs to be helpful as well, BUT, locate a product on Clickbank that is related to your niche, and recommend it somewhere within your 5th post.

Using Canva again, make a very nice looking banner that you can use to link to th product you wish to promote from that page. Many of the products on Clickbank already provide banners for affiliates to use, check the affiliate page for that particular product and you may find just what you need!

Your posts do not need to follow any guidelines, at least not these first 5, just write them!

Do not worry about set rules or search engine rankings, remember, you want to make money FAST! (Hope you can juggle well!)

The great thing about blogging is that you can edit your posts whenever you like, so right now, just get them written! The main rule, is make sure that they provide something of value for site visitors.

Once your blog is rolling, you will then want to use canva again to make social media graphics. Make a separate (or several) graphic/s for each post you have written.

Create a Pinterest account, Facebook account and Instagram account. Post your graphics on all three of these social media platforms, paying special attention to Pinterest.

Again, no need for keyword research etc at this stage. Simply get those accounts with something on them so they look "new" and not abandoned.

Now that you have this completed, take a wee break and rest your brain, because the REAL work is about to begin!

All of these tasks can be completed in 2 days, if you devote a full 16 hours to completing them.

Once your break is over, you will need to spend some time going over Catherine's post "Build your List Like a Pro. (All the steps Are in the right order)"

Spend 3 to 8 hours (or more), working on setting up your mailing list. Aweber is a great free service you can use, that's the service I use, and it's great. You want to be sure to provide a jam up mailing list, following Catherine's very detailed step-by-step instructions.

Once you have that done, create a PAGE. Not a post. On this page, do nothing more than write up a pitch to entice others to join your mailing list.

In your word press settings, set this page to show on the main page of your blog. Be sure that your sidebar has the latest posts setup to show in your sidebar.

When creating your mailing list, be sure you select something GREAT to entice others to join your mailing list. I usually offer a free ebook, ecourse or other digital gift to new-subscribers.

An ecourse is a great incentive to have, simply because it will encourage your subscribers to stay on your mailing list so they can get each lesson.

Now that you have that completed, you will want to spend a large part of time doing a ton of social marketing.

Find forums related to you niche, post in them, be sure to setup your signature in each forum. Don't know what a signature is?

Do a search here at WA, there's plenty of information that explains this and everything I cover in this post. Learn to SEARCH for answers, read several solutions from many different people provided here. This is so that you can weigh the methods yourself, based on who is giving accurate and helpful information, versus those who no not much at all.

If you see 3 or 4 people contradicting something one individual has said, then you can take what those 3 or 4 people have stated as truth, fact and to the bank. Learn to ignore that other whom is trying to help, at least on that particular topic, but is not really being very helpful.

Everyone here wants to help, so don't ignore anyone whom you deem is mistaken one a single topic, because that individual probably is very knowledgeable in other areas. This is a community, so never take what one person says as "FACT, but instead verify it by conducting your own research.

And I highly encourage you to research everything I am sharing in this post. I chuckle as I dare you to.

You will be AMAZED at the plethora of "money making" ideas and solutions you will find within the wealth of information provided here at WA!

Back to our social marketing efforts.

Make lost of graphics to put up on pinterest, and pin like crazy! The more you pin, the more people will see you, the more they will hopefully re-pin you!

Did you know that Pinterest and Facebook are always being crawled by google, day and night, practically 24/7? Did you know that pins on Pinterest are showing all over google, in some of the oddest ways? PIN like crazy!

I could write a post about using nothing but Pinterest and your FREE blog to make money, but you will see this as true once you have hundreds or thousands (or tens of thousands) of pins in place!

Yeah, it will take time to get that many pins, but hey, later, you can automate your social marketing tasks where you wont have to pin any longer! That's one of the benefits of being a Premium member, being able to use more plugins to automate many of your tasks!

Join Facebook groups that are related to your niche so that group questions will start showing on your Facebook wall. Answer any questions with helpful information, you will be surprised at how many private messages you will start getting in return!

Add your social graphics to your Instagram account, start following people who are in your niche, and in turn start commenting on thier posts. Get your Instagram account out there, so that others shall start following you!

The more you get your website out there, the more traffic you will gain, the more sales you will generate, the more money you will make!

Case Scenario: (True Story). I was in a Facebook group that had to do with something related to my niche. A person asked a question that I could answer. That question had a lot of comments already. Many people were confused about the problem, and were also seeking solutions.

This showed me there were a number of people who were seeking a solution to a problem I could help them with.

I replied with an "If you want to do it this way, let me know, I will be more than happy to toss up a tutorial for you!" I then gave a short blurb about the method I was talking about.

BOOM

Instant interest, not only from the individual who asked the original question, but I started getting PMs like CRAZY!

I tossed up my "tutorial" on my blog, started giving the link to those who had PMed me, this resulted in text conversations (that I could conduct using my phone!) which resulted in a lot of "I highly recommend this" where I would direct them to my page that was promoting the Clickbank product that was also related to that niche.

Or I would reply "Join my mailing list, I have more great things to share!".

That in turn, helped build my mailing list.

This happened 3 years ago, and to this day, I STILL get random PMs that originated from that old post.

I do this a lot, especially on Facebook. It's fun, almost instant gratification, and almost instant money!

Does this method make a lot of money, nah. Enough to justify the time spent on it, yes, certinaly. Enough to keep a person afloat, certainly enough to help a starter member make enough to go premium with a domain name of their own!

These are the some of the reasons that I see that some starter members ask if they can make money within a week, month, 2 months etc.

They are the members who join with barely a dime to their name. This post is long, but it is for members who are in the shoes I once was in many years ago! Broke, busted, and desperate for a viable, workable solution.

Can you make money using the free blog offered here? The answer to that, is heck yes you can!

Even if you know nothing but how to type! Everything else has to be learned, and over time, you will learn the methods taught here better than you fully understand or could ever realize. If you stay the course and do not give up!

Get ready to juggle, because you will be doing many tasks in a very short amount of time! But I am certain that you too will become a master at juggling tasks!

Oh, and that "It's too hard", um, that is utter nonsense. If you can read and write, you can do this!

There is no other platform online that offers so much to those wishing to learn how to become an affiliate marketer / webmaster. You get all the tools, and so many wonderful people that are here willing to help you!!

So stop asking if you can, because you can do anything if you set you mind to it. Kyle and Carson are masters at this, they are so confident in what they offer, that they give enough FREE so you can SEE that it DOES work.

But it will never work, if you keep wasting your time questioning if it works. It will work as much as you do, that answer is one only YOU can answer.

BTW: When you do finally become a premium member, and get your own domain name, do not delete or move your free site. Keep it online, and divert the traffic it is getting to your main site. You certainly do not want to lose all your hard work!

Once you become a Premium member, you will be able to be a bit more selective about your niche, keywords etc.

And no worries about choosing a niche, you can create more blogs as time passes! I have 33 niche blogs myself, I never worry about choosing a niche! I just do what I deem is FUN! You should do what is fun for you too!
