I Just Made a HUGE Mistake.
I am so angry right now! I just spent two hours writing an article I was proud of. Two of my friends came over and I was telling them about WA and as I was going to show them my website, I refreshed it without saving my article.....ugh I just need to vent right now. It helps me feel better haha

Oh don't ya just hate it when that happens! I sure do! That's why I like WordPress - it has autosave!
Maddie, a draft would have probably been a good idea, but never the less the thoughts are still in your head. If you sit down and start writing again I bet you most of it will come to you plus other ideas, and maybe greater ones. Good luck with the re-write.

WordPress auto saves every few minutes. Have you checked to see if any of the article still exists?

I'm a dummy when in comes to apps, etc. Is there a program/app, something that saves as we write so we don't loose valuable content?
There should be.
Wordpress actually does save your articles every so often automatically. It probably did save her article if she was talking for a while. If you go to edit the post then scroll down, you'll see a list of saves that can be brought back. Hope this helps with the frustration. Geoff. The friendly fisherman. :)
Definitely sorry to hear that. It is no fun at all to loose an article you spent that long on. I hope you feel better.
Sometimes things happen.
That happened to me one time and when I rewrote it ...it turned out better.

Check your drafts.
Your posts usually get autosaved.
And did this happen on WA or on your website?
If on your website, go to that post.
Then there might be a warning at the top that there is another version of that post saved. Confirm that you want to load that other version and you might get all or at least some of your work back.

Always save regularly!
I save my stuff every 10 minutes or so.
Thank you for the advice! I was able to find it in my revisions box. I clicked on the last "autosave" and had the option to refresh it. Thank God!!
