Proof that Wealthy Affiliate Works!

It is now 5:29 p.m. PT (17:29) and just a little over 4 hours ago I published a new post on my website. At 5:01 I received a notification email from WordPress to moderate a comment left on this particular post.
Obviously, somebody stumbled upon it; but how can it be? Is it possible to rank within 4 hours? Of course, I was curious and did a search in incognito mode. Sure enough, searching NOT for the whole title of my post, rather only for the Keyword phrase "reshipping scams", the post is on Page 3 in Google:
Will it remain on page 3? Most likely not, but I am confident it will move to page 2 and, hopefully, to page 1 in a few weeks time. I am confident because the teachings here at Wealthy Affiliate work, period.
Let me point out a few things:
1) All In One SEO ........
is the preferred SEO plugin at WA because it takes care of the important SEO implementation behind the scene. Instead of chasing after little green pimples for hours, like in Yoast SEO, I can spend the time applying On-Page-SEO the right way.
2) Tags
Pay attention to TAGS and use variations of your main keyword phrase. TAGS get indexed AND ranked, and AIO SEO converts tags to keywords by adding a <Meta tag: Keyword line> to the Page Source Code.
3) <H2> through <H6> Headlines
These provide another legit option to sneak in some keyword phrase
4) Naming Images and Alt Text
Give your images names that make sense. 12345.pgn does not tell the search engines what the image is since they cannot 'see' them like we do. Give them a name related to your post (hint: keyword variations) and do the same with the ALT Text.
5) The Post Description Snippet
OK, we are taught here to use the main keyword in the title and within the first 160 characters of the post. Most times I cannot do that because it just doesn't sound right. I handcraft my snippet in the Description Meta Box. Look at the image above and you see that 'Reshipping' and 'Scams' are in the first sentence AND highlighted, although with 3 other words in between, and recognized by Google as my Keywords. If you write your own description, don't forget to CHECK the Robots Meta field NOODP and NODIR
6) Submit your new post as soon as it is published
Publish your post and do the Fetch as Google dingy in Google Webmaster Tool and also submit the new URL to Bing Webmaster Tool
That's it my WA friends. Keep hacking away, post regularly and apply what you learn here at Wealthy Affiliate.
May Success Be With You (LOL, couldn't help myself)

That's awesome Brother John! The training here at WA truly is the best anywere on the internet. Congrats on your post!
Hello John. Nice informative blog with lots of useful info for the WA's newest members.
But will they take it on board and use it?
In my experience they don't and I end up getting loads of PM's asking me to explain this, that or the other of what you have been saying in your blog.
We can but try to educate John so keep plugging away as I do and have an excellent day.
Robert
and you allso know how to work a computer you probly know how html and code works there's allot of people that don't know and i'm 1 of them lol this stuff goes right over my head i'm think of taking an computer class
I know very little HTML and had not the desire to get into css. My time as computer geek is long past. Important for us is to understand our way around the WP environment, writing good content and learn how to attack our niche. And this we do get here. I am here now 2 years and still learning something new almost every day. Just take a look at the huge video lib we have here under Live Video Classes. I pick one or 2 each week, and it helps a lot.
John
thank you every time i write a post i draw a blank lol takes me a while to write but when i get going i cant stop
I don't have much computer training, and I find the training on WA very easy to understand, and very doable for even me, with limited computer knowledge. I'm not sure if a computer class would help you? Just my opinion. Best of luck in your journey with WA.
Hi John, I would be wary of that comment as it appears to be spam to me.
Spammers use software to search out keywords in posts, which is likely the reason they found it so fast. Spammers are looking for backlinks to their site hence they always add a link, often the comments are meaningless.
You as the administrator can turn these spam comments around to your advantage. It easy to do, approve the comment, edit out any links and you can then re-write the comment to be more favourable and in-line with your post and its purpose.
All the best Darren
Excellent John. Great job and very inspiring. Thank you for evidence of light ahead. Best wishes. :)
