The Key To Online Success is Simple
I've had so many people ask me how I grew my blogs and there is no amazing secret... think about it right, the amazing "secrets" are what just cost you a fortune in money and loads of misery and disappointment.
The key is content. Keep writing. Keep publishing.
The more you write the better you get at writing!
I remember a while back doing one of Kyle's training videos. I can't remember which one it was or exactly what he said... but the task was to write a post in 30 minutes or something similar.
I nearly choked. At that time it was taking me one full day to research write and publish a post complete with keyword research, SEO and images.
Anyway fast forward a year and I can do just that. I actually publish about 4 posts a day on my mommy blog now, it is a mix of types of posts. One long post, one short post and then I do two posts sharing youtube videos.
It works a charm! In all honesty though I don't always write all my own posts since I get a lot of guest posts submitted to me, plus sometimes when I am feeling lazy I hire a good content writer to do a few short posts for me just to ensure the content is always rolling out.
The result is 100 000 page views in the last 30 days. This may sound incredible and a few years ago I wouldn't have thought it would be possible... but now I know the sky is the limit and I am not finished yet. I am determined to have my website hit over 1 million page views before the end of this year.
The point of this post is please stop chasing all the empty promises and just follow this training and pump out as much content as you possibly can.
You will see the results! And that is a promise.
I hope you all had a great Easter!

I agree there is no amazing "secret". Those found on the internet and charge a fee are just the same "secrets" people can find for free. That is true that good content is the key, and it comes over time.
Thank you, Lynne, for sharing this awesome key to online success. Wishing you continued success! :)
Lynne,
Thanks for sharing your down to earth basic "secrets" for success. We have a tendency to make things more difficult to have an excuse for not doing anything!
Great post!
Sami
That's great, Lynne, thanks!
I've long been convinced that consistently writing great content is the way to go.
Absolutely! It's worth developing the discipline of writing. If you stop pouring it out, people stop coming around for it.

Amazing, Lynn! Congratulations! Consistency is the key! I still struggle with that but I'm a lot better than I used to be! Good luck getting to a million! Alanna
Thanks Alanna - why don't you set a publishing frequency that you are easily able to reach.
Then never write and publish, write and schedule instead. I schedule all my posts ahead of time and I have set times that my posts get published. Then if you get far ahead with your scheduling you can either decide to start publishing more often or you can just try keep going at that same pace, knowing that if you do hit a slump you are ahead :)
Thanks for the advice, Lynn! I have underestimated how much time I spend on posts so recently I've committed to posting once a week--every Wednesday. Once I get that nailed down, I'll increase it to twice a week and so on. If I don't do it this way, I will become discouraged and do nothing at all. They have to be reachable goals! So far, I've been keeping to the plan! :D Alanna
Rather keep it slow and steady than burn yourself out and start missing your publishing schedule. Like I said what I do is schedule way ahead of time and when I can see that I am way ahead that is when I know I am able to add more posts so I increase how many times I post. Once a week is just fine if that is what you can manage.
It is also important to remember that while this is a business it is supposed to be fun for you too... otherwise what is the point? You may as well work for someone else if you are miserable and stressed out!
