A Long Journey
It has been about three weeks since I ventured onto Wealthy Affiliate and became a member. When I did, I of course had no idea what to expect.
I found my way here out of a burning desire to take my online business and presence to the next level.
You might ask: What is the next level? For me that would be having the knowledge to build my own websites, have them optimized for search engines and anything that has to do with creating a professional presence on the internet, that would position me for success.
This has been a long journey for me and it is not by chance that I became a member of WA.
I became a member because this is exactly where I needed to be at this time in my online marketing experience.
I Have Made Progress
Why "Reflections"? Simple! Looking back to about a month ago I was struggling to make sense of WordPress, while trying to build my own website.
Fast forward to today I have a website set up, ready to add content, plus I have learned so much about WordPress that the anxiety I used to have using it before is no more.
My first WordPress site was built through pure determination and patience, using the odd “do it yourself” video from Youtube, whatever information I got on Google and WordPress support.
What a Difference a Few Weeks and the Right Training Make.
Now I feel much more secure in my online future regarding my business. I have a million ideas flowing through my mind about how I can use the knowledge I am acquiring to advance my business and at the same time help others.
I have realized that the greatest blessing I have with being a member of Wealthy Affiliate is that I can help others who are in the situation I was, trying to do it themselves, but lacked the necessary training and knowledge.
It is said that “knowledge is power”. This being true if I can help others change their lives by sharing this training with them, thus giving them access to the knowledge, then I would have done my job.
Now I can put my energies into expanding my knowledge base, using the valuable training available here at Wealthy Affiliate, at the same time gaining the confidence to position myself to achieve my desired goals.

You have the right attitude and I commend you for that. To tell you the truth when I joined WA I had a different expectation, I though by now I should have been already get some money out of my venture, only to realize that I wanted to get money without knowing how to get it, so it is important for me to learn few things to help me set up a business which will succeed and that is why I like WA.
