Me, Competitive? Never!
This is going to be a short blog - because there truly is one reason only for it - an attempt to stop my WA ranking from climbing out of the Top 100. So now you understand the title, very simple .... Me, Competitive? Never!
Clearing The Hurdles
October 2018 was when this beautiful Wealthy Affiliate community and platform welcomed me in with open arms. It's very safe to say that my life has never been the same!
I truly love being a part of WA, everything about it speaks to me! The training is absolutely awesome, the community possibly awesomer (lol, that's not even a word, but you get me)
I leaped over hurdles one after another and was ranked in the Top 50 in very short time. Memory fails me a bit, I cannot recall exactly when that happened but it was within 8 weeks. Top 50 has been a comfortable rank for me, its purely psychological as we all are aware, one does not earn any money as a result of ranking within the community. It just appeals to me. It's not a case of being overly competitive - oh no, not me ever!
Top 100 is an achievement too, please do not misunderstand. Perhaps it's because I am in my 50s age wise so Top 50 WA makes sense to me too.
Eye On The Ball
I am also a SAC contender and truth is, my eye has not been on the ball. Not the right one anyways!
See, SAC comes along only once a year and taking massive action is the right route to go. For me however, I want it all! Yes, success as a SAC contender and I want to be in the Top 50 within the WA community.
Something's gotta give that is understandable. But a girl has to try to see if she can achieve it all before relinquishing to the expression "something's gotta give".
So here I am wobbling and waning, but still giving it all as much as I can - let's see if I can get back into the Top 50 and meet all the requirements on the SAC!
I've noticed that there are WA members who joined the same as me, or even after, and they are achieving more substantial success than I am. In terms of traffic numbers, social media followers, numbers of blog posts etc., Maybe I am slack? Maybe I am trying to run before I can walk? Who knows. All I can say is this:
WA is a beautiful place, perfect for me! I will continue striving, leaping, wobbling and waning - all with the support of this amazing community.
Now, I really do have to go - there's the SAC you see - as we have established, Me, Competitive? Never!
Blessings always!

Thank you Louise. Not any competition but only striving to achieve something worthwhile.
I wish you more success.
Success to everyone in this community as well.

Hi Segun
You are quite right - I just err on the side of competitiveness.
Thank you for taking the time to read what I have to say and also to leave me your encouragement and feedback.
Blessings & wishes of success to you too.

Hi Wanda
Thank you so much. I guess success is in the eye of the beholder. I am not there yet ... but on the way :-)

We all are competitive in many ways. Posting here is tough while I am concentrating on website content. It all good, and balance is the key overall.
Hi William
Absolutely - it really is a balancing act! I'm also getting some brain drain thinking of what to post here - things have switched up, previously I struggled with what to post on my site, now I have more than enough material but not enough time.

Now I gotta cut loose
Footloose, kick off the Sunday shoes
Please, Louise, pull me off of my knees
Jack, get back, come on before we crack
Lose your blues, everybody cut footloose
You've got the spirit, Louise! Footloose by Kenny Loggins. This gets me rockin too!
Hi Michael
I love Footloose! One of my all time favourites! Thank you for reminding me :-) That's gonna have me working all night, brilliant!

We all go at different paces and have different lives and commitments. You will get there.
All he best.
Hi Linda
Yes, we do - and it's ebbs and flows, at least that has been my experience.
