Silly me - blogging, will I ever learn?
Blogging and me just don't seem to work!
It seems that every so often I get an idea for a blog but for some reason I don't get it right....
I had written a piece which I thought was quite good - so I was thinking, 'yep my friends at WA would like that'. So I proudly copied it and posted it .....arrgghh no! Google dont like copying!! ......So I took down the blog......
Then I thought 'ok - I will link the post to my website'. So that's what I did. Ooops - thats a no-no - now it looks like I am promoting my website..... So I took down the blog........
Then yesterday I heard about a fantastic way to help out with loans for people in the third world....'Yep my friends at WA would love that' - eh no - that is advertising another website ...........So WA took down the blog........
Will I give up? naaa here I am back (and the link is where it should be - with the list of sites on my profile page)
I will persevere with the blogging - I know I will get it right and I know you will be patient with me because you are a great bunch of people here.

Why thank you so much dark stranger! I need to practise how to blog well - perhaps some lessons from the master??
Patience is also a virtue Lorna....I must confess though that maybe I dont fully understand what you are getting at...... if you posted a blog which originated as a personal idea and was then written by yourself...why would Google construe that as copying?

Hi Arthur - it was a WA post which I copied directly from my site- google detects the same content appearing twice and sees it as duplication.
I am learning!

Hahaha..thanks Lorna. That ranking has been going up and down. It was much better few weeks back but I'm trying to dedicate more time to my website. Looks like it's going out of the 100, lol.
Anyway I have to learn to go by priorities. Get focus and work. Never lose sight of our goals. Happy working Lorna. Take care! :))
Agreed! My ranking went from 200-400 in a month - but it is not good to focus on that - you are correct - your site is much more important! ;-)

Never give up! Good intentions are wonderful and you are doing well. Learning how the internet and online systems work is a challenge. But you are learning!
