Learn Psychological Tricks
Make sure you generate more sales in a smart and simple way through these proven psychological tricks!
There are a number of tips and tricks to improve your website marketing that e.g. Amazon, have tested for you. The following simple psychological tips have already resulted in millions for this webshop giant.
Make your price less painful! That sounds very strange, but it is proven that the part in our brain that regulates pain is stimulated when we spend money. The intention is therefore to reduce this by:
- Ensure that the price is shown in a small size.
- Do not use a € or a $ sign (this activates the pain part in your brain).
- Do not use color (red or green), it should not stand out too much.
The intention is that the price is minimal, unimportant and does not stand out.
Emphasize the benefit for the customer! Strike the original price, put the new price underneath and put the savings in euros and in a percentage. That is 4x emphasizing how much you save. This provides extra conviction.
People are also very sensitive to scarcity. You can respond to that by indicating that there are only 2 or 3 products in stock or that this price is only available for 23 hours. One will then assume that the product is wanted and/or that the deadline passes. So the consumer has to decide quickly to buy your product.
With every purchase there is some doubt for the consumer. Take away this doubt. You can do this by indicating, for example, that 142 customers have already bought the same product before him. Your customer will think that he is going to make a good purchase. Reviews and ratings work very well.
The above psychological Marketing Tips for websites help you generate more sales in a simple way! Social proof reduces the doubt. Scarcity ensures that the consumer will purchase the product more quickly. In addition, emphasize the savings in several ways and do not forget to not set your price too prominently.
It's that simple!
