How to use Site Comments and Feedback without hurting people
Hi, we have two great features here. Site Comments and Site Feedback
I understand there are some miss understandings about these two. These are two different features.
Site Comments
There are people here who think they have to place a comment on the website and than feedback on the WA form, this is WRONG.You don't type anything on the website, just in the form here at WA, WA will place the comment for you on the website. A comment is solely attending the content of the post.
How to use the new comment feature and how to write a good comment
Don't hurt the requester
When you are giving a comment, will you please keep in mind to surf around a bit, click some pages, before you leave. A bounce rate of -50% looks quite nicer than a bounce rate of 98%+, because the bounce rate will go up when you only visit one page and leave again. And however, it will not hurt their SEO, it doesn't look nice either!
Site Feedback
The feedback thread is meant for layout issues, navigation, colors of the website, grammar mistakes, menu and category etc. Feedback will be shared in private with the requester.I hope this will prevent you to be forced to turn down comments or that your comment will be disapproved. With to many disapproved comments you will be banned from the site comments.

Yes, and even more unfortunate is the fact that some people understand the process, they just don't care enough to actually READ the content and provide decent comments and feedback.
Excellent post - perhaps "Site comments" should be renamed "Post/page content comments", that might make it a little clearer? Also, superb comment on "bounce rate", as a relative newbie, I wasn't aware of that dynamic -- Al
I hope there will be a - first time button - to open up the site comments for newbies, with instructions about how to use Al
I appreciate your posting this because I often have had to disapprove comments because the person thought they should comment ON MY WEBSITE instead of making a comment on the post or page itself. It's discouraging. I can't say I've ever received anything but kindness, though. :)
There always come new members, not understanding this, Debra and not reading this post either, 6.7k of my followers have the opportunity to read this, but not all will

Thank you for the post Loes. You have cleared up something for me. I had a disapproved comment and couldn't understand why.
Glad to be of assistance to you Daniel
