How to create a transparent text bar on an image
On a daily base I am amazed how much rubbish is coming into my house by watching the ads in between the cartoons on kids TV.
Here is a compilation of the worst kids toys.

Can you believe parents who give their children a walking dead puppet with a screwdriver in its eye??? Or buy a spray can whipped cream to slap their kids in the face with??
Here is a compilation of the best kids toys.

How to make the text in a transparent balk over the picture?
1. Go to Pixlr.com

3. Choose Drawing set
4. Opacity 65
5. Modus - Layer
6. Fill up and choose the color
7. Draw the rectangle
8. Write your text

Thanks Loes. Toys are really odd these days. Give me good old Meccano any day. As kids we pooled all our pieces and built a city in one family's basement. Every child had a different colour code so the pieces could be recovered if they left the 'build'. It was huge and so much fun.
I have heard of pixlr.com. but as I have said before I have Paint Shop Pro, Photoshop, Serif and that free open source graphic tool. ... gmp. they run like a charm on Windows 10 but they will kill windows 7. I prefer to have my tools on my machine. I'm not poor so I can afford to buy them. Good job.
Hi Jay, thanks, nice to see you here, unfortunately the most WA-ers are here to create a way of living, and they are really glad with the free options
I do understand that. that is why I made the specific reference to myself. I think you are one of the greater promoters of WA. Kyle should be proud to have you working for him. & I think you do great work
We used to have the attacking dog toy...I actually got it to use in my speech therapy sessions with some active little boys. Most got a kick out of it, but it did frighten some of them. I ended up getting rid of it.
Thanks for the tutorial. I actually just started using and really understanding Canva. You can do this type of thing on there and it's not all that complicated.
