Good question Lizzie. I still feel it could more insightful writing you own articles because you have the first hand imagination and impressing the market with your personal ideas is wow in return.
Experience is exposure, perhaps the first few may be a bit difficult but with time the race becomes nicer as the body warms up.
I have no clue though for the writers, it would be good sharing.

I have been using Prosociate for a few months now and I have to say that it is a good plug-in! Unfortunately it's pretty useless on websites hosted here on WA because the hosting will not allow Amazon images to show in posts or in uploaded media in Wordpress if uploaded from Prosociate or similar plug-ins( I have tried a few and none work in WA) You will need a different hosting provider if you wish to use Prosociate. I recommend this plug-in 100% and I'll tell you why:
1. uses a 90 day cookie if a customer adds an item to cart.
2. You can configure a cron job so all your products stay up to date when price changes,out of stock or item deletion occurs on Amazon. (I recommend Cronny Cron job plugin for this because it's easier to set up)
3. It will post up to 100 items complete with description, All images for each product, Add to cart or buy now from amazon and related comments from amazon and/or from your own customers.
I do not recommend this plug-in for single niche product or for blogs! TIP: Instead I would set up a shop website then link to it from such sites like a blog by using a shop link.
You will need Woocommerence for Prosociate to work .
Finally I also recommend that if you use this plug-in be very careful not to batch post the same product category twice because you will end up getting duplicate posts.

I kinda of agree with your review, But the plug-in has been updated a few times since (NOT the free one you get on WP plug-in search do not use that one!) and I think I use this plug-in in a different manner.
You can edit product posts and set up seo for each, I have had products set up to either go straight to amazon or to a cart then check out to amazon difference being that each product will show BUY=go straight to amazon or Add to cart=cart page then check out to amazon AND you choose to have credit card payments, paypal features set up or not, But not through Prosociate! Its through Woocommerence and is intended for sellers who have actual products or have Amazon advanced payments setup with SSL.
It still takes work if you want to get products ranked by editing each product. If I didn't have a theme issue and didn't have to start my site all over I would show an example lol. I do recommend this plug-in for shop sites, BUT I also don't recommend this for WA members and should keep going with the training and methods here!,

I've found much more luck doing individual product reviews and having someone buy a specific product based on that review, rather than trying to provide a shopping experience similar to an ecommerce site. That's what the WA training teaches.

Of the 5 support requests only one has been resolved. 2nd red flag.
this is just a cursory look at the plugin but it doesn't instill confidence.
