Why Did I Choose Wealthy Affiliate?

I joined Wealthy Affiliate in October 2017 under the free membership. However, I did not use the free membership, instead I was all over the internet finding whatever I could about making money online. It didn't take me long to come to the conclusion that Wealthy Affiliate was the place for me. I liked the fact that it was a community of like-minded people. All the members had the same goals, be successful making money online. So on November 1st, I took the step of going to the Premium membership. One month after that, I took advantage of the terrific Black Friday offer on yearly membership.

What Am I Doing With That Membership?

Well on day one of my premium membership, I started the certification courses and went step by step through the training. With each course completion, it was a sense of satisfaction; not to mention another piece of the online business puzzle solved.

To my amazement, 2 1/2 months later, I have 2 websites up and running. However; I wouldn't recommend doing 2 websites. Once I had further training, I learned to stick with one website until that site is successful. Once you have one site getting traffic and making revenue, then you can continue to replicate that process with another site. I think it is extremely important not to skip any of the training. It is best to go step by step and do the homework associated with each training module. I am amazed at what all I have learned in such a short period.

Don't Be A Quitter

Success does not come overnight. If you are serious about your online business, you must be patient and give your business time to grow. Don't get discouraged if you spent all day finding great keywords and writing a great post only to find you are ranking in position 95. Keep in mind, your website is new and it will take time for you to gain authority within your niche. Every site started somewhere, authority sites did not become authority sites overnight.

I can't say this enough; I think where most potential online entrepreneurs fail, is expecting to have tons of traffic and sales within one or two months. Welcome to the real world of Affiliate Marketing, it doesn't happen that way. To have a successful online business, a lot of hard work is required.

The training here at Wealthy Affiliate is the same for everyone. Why does one person use the training and succeed, when the next person does not. Only you can determine how much effort you will put into being successful at your online business. Imagine if you owned a brick and morter business and you only showed up occasionally. Do you think that business would be prosperous? My answer would be no, it wouldn't.

Be willing to put in the time to make your business successful, especially in the beginning stages of your website.

If You Get Stuck, Ask For Help

If you get stuck on some of the training and it just isn't clicking with you, don't be afraid to ask for help. The Wealthy Affiliate Community is saturated with great mentors. There is always someone willing to help you.

The great thing with such a large community is the knowledge base. One person might be great at web design while another person is great at content writing. Network with those people, they will be able to help you in your area of weakness.

Give Your Business Time To Grow

The sky is the limit if you set your mind to it. If you have a willingness to learn and put in the time necessary, there is no reason why your business will not grow.

Rome wasn't built in a day and your business is no different. It takes time to earn trust with your readers and gain authority in your niche.

Lastly, I want to provide words of encouragement. You can do this and you can be a success story. Stick with the training, give your business time to grow, and put in the effort necessary.
