Is it better to write reviews on a single product or a comparison of similar multiple products on the same page?

They are both very useful it just depends on how you want to present it

Your choice Lisa depending on the product(s) and audience!

Thank you everyone. I have been writing single product reviews. When I am leaving site comments it seems like the majority are doing multi product reviews. I just wondered if I am missing out on something.

I would do singles

I'm glad you asked that question.

All of my reviews have been singles so far but I have been feeling the need to add a couple of the multiple reviews.

Nice question.

Rick

It depends on the product. Some of the "10 best thingamajigs" articles work well. But a single product review attracts people who are further down the buying cycle track. When people are searching for a review of a particular product they are almost ready to buy.

I would do a mix, probably 75% single and 25% comparison reviews.
