Niche. niche. niche. what's yours?

As I write this it's 6 March 2019: I've only been wandering around the WA community for a few days and it already feels like years. Don't get me wrong, it's fabulous - BEST THING I ever did, I just love it...
BUT....
I was overwhelmed, and worried. What was my niche? I had no clue and I was bothered.
I leapt, like a mad gazelle, into the fiery depths of the training, swooped like a ninja into the bootcamp stuff (thought - stupidly - it would be a piece of cake to get 300 people and go to the conference free - hahahaha she says now), came up for air briefly, and then fired out my first blog on - what - nothing really relevant to affiliate marketing, as it turns out. But, hey, you live and learn.
I went to bed bothered. I woke up bothered. No niche. Not a clue. Nada.
But I wasn't thinking straight, and that was the problem. I was reacting, well... OVER reacting, because it's all so new, and as it turns out that's ok. In fact, it's perfectly fine to not have a clue about any of this stuff. That's the point; we are here to learn.
So, back to the no niche thing.
I had to go and have a wee lie down and a big think, but that's always a good thing. And relaxing about what it is one doesn't know is, as it turns out, another good thing. I did both.
Then I came up with the very thing.
PROFILE ME.

The niche training says do what you love, like, have a passion for etc.
FIRST TIP: There are somewhere in the region of four billion buyers out there searching for stuff to buy.
What are the chances that some of them ARE GOING TO MATCH UP WITH YOUR INTERESTS?
SECOND TIP: They say you need 1-2% of any market. I don't know what one percent of four billion is, but I'm pretty sure it's a lot.
So let's go with that. Hey, I'd be happy with anything because it's more than what I currently have.
THIRD TIP: KNOW THYSELF is a saying that's been around for years. In this case it translates into PROFILE THYSELF.
So this is what I did.
I asked myself the following questions.
WHO AM I: Middle-aged female. Superannuitant. Nearly 66. Mother. Aunt. Great Aunt. Friend. Self-employed business person in my former life.
WHAT ARE MY VALUES: Honest. Loyal. Trustworthy. Fair. Just. Kind.
HOBBIES/INTERESTS? Dogs. Animal Care. Self-help development. Natural remedies. Health. Reading. Writing. Affilite marketing. New business ideas. Making money.
PASSIONS: Self development. Animal Welfare.
SEARCH HABITS: Making money. Affiliate marketing. Courses. Natural remedies. Animal care. How to do things.
GOOD AT: Business mentoring. Life mentoring. Advice - business & personal. Feeding animals well. Saving animals using natural methods and cures. Helping people.
Then I looked for common themes in all of the above criteria, which then gave me my answers.
And so starts my journey towards establishing my first niche.
Good luck with yours, hope this helps.
