My Experience at Wealthy Affiliate
My enthusiasm would quickly wane as I'd find myself struggling to make sense of the technical jargon of the training lessons. Nothing leads to defeat so quickly as the inability to access the help and support so badly needed.
One thing I learned right off -- the friendly people who were oh so nice and helpful when they sold you the product, would suddenly turn into short-tempered, ill-mannered trolls when you needed their support. Either that or they'd mysteriously vanished into thin air once the transaction was completed.
It got so bad, I stopped going online for a while. I literally gave up at that point. I swore I'd never spend another nickel online. But some habits die hard. Slowly, I began reading my e-mails again. And began looking again for some type of home business.
I don't exactly remember how WA came into my life, but what a breath of fresh air. I could hardly believe what I was reading - WHAT!? Free sign-up? Start off with free training? Free websites?
Blogging? I signed up. I started reading the tips for beginners and ended up in the Live Chat where I introduced myself and did as I was told ... started asking question from the get-go ...dumb questions, I thought. And an amazing thing happened. Not only one person, but two, three, maybe four took the time to introduce themselves, answered my questions and offered to help me further if I needed it. A whole community that thrived on helping a 'free' newbie to succeed? Unheard of!! Had I died somehow online and gone to marketing heaven?!
After the shock wore off, I pinched myself and decided to stick around for a bit to find out how this worked. I'm still here and loving it. I'm doing the training, joined the Bootcamp challenge and for the first time since trying to learn online marketing, I don't feel defeated. My only regret is that I didn't find this website sooner. But I'm here now, so I'm making up for lost time.

It took me and my wife a while before we also stumbled onto WA. At the time they were offering $1 for one week trial. I took it and I have been a premium member since that first week in 2009. I think that this is the BEST online training for newbies trying to learn the online marketing business. You are well on your way to success because of the training courses you are taking. Well I am really glad that you finally found Wealthy Affiliate, your story sounds all to familiar to pretty much everyone that has attempted to find an opportunity online. Unfortunately because of the amount of scams out there, an assumption takes place when people see the "join for free" and when they come in and see everything that we offer here and the active community.
What's the catch?
The catch is that you have found an ethical company. :) You are in the only place you need to be and you will never have to worry about "searching" for another product again. Your entire support system, tool set, training, and platform for running your business is here :)

It is wonderful when you finally come across a legit business. I was beginning to lose hope. Feel like I won the lottery now. :)
I know exactly how you feel now if I could only convince others that this is legit and a real opportunity. That is harder than anything they think there is a catch somewhere.
This is a great place! i lost money, too and started looking. I actually found WA when I was desperately looking for an honest review of the latest shiny object I was involved with. Found it through the one of the members here. So thought I would check out that site's recommended sites and found WA. Been at it for about 7 weeks now and am really enjoying it. Great to find a place like this.
Isn't it amazing? I found this website by accident, too. Not only am I learning but I'm having fun while doing it.
