When "Life" gets in the way, Don't give up!
When life happens and upsets your plans for the day/week/month, don't dispair, this can happen to us all.
Last week was a crazy week with my job taking so much of my concentration and focus, that I had to cut down on my focus and time on WA and my website. I was feeling very frustrated as I am rather addictied to my learning and blogging within my WA journey. 😁 It has become my passion, and I love it when I am working on learning about Affiiate Marketing and creating blogs for my website, however we all have to do our normal day to day job to make our current living.
Even though I am a planner and have detailed lists and plans for my days, weeks, and months, things still get pushed out as "life" happens.
So what do I do? I adjust my lists and plans, and I give the focus at that moment to my job and I know that I will come back to my WA plans and lists very soon.
When "life" happens, don't give up and when you get pushed off course, just set your new course, with your new plans/lists, and keep taking one step at a time. Every step will help you get to your destination. Remember, as Kyle has said in the past, as well as many others here at WA, that it is not a race, but a marathon.

Not enough time for WA because of XYZ...
Fortunately, this is a marathon and not a sprint.
I do one thing every day, even if it's small, ask those things add up and eventually get us to where we want to be, WA-wise...

Lindy, that is some powerful advice! I am a prime example of how 'sh*t happens' and it sets you back. However, I am growing and continually build on those aches and pains.
If we can believe better, we will do better. Get slapped in the face, turn the other cheek. 'What doesn't kill us will undoubtedly make us stronger'.

Lindy, life happens to me all the time. lol. I had to learn to adjust and try to take small steps toward my goals. It might take longer to get there but if I take the small steps I will get there. It might not be on my timeline but I will get there eventually.
Yes, "life" does happen, Lindy! While plans and lists are good, I decided a long time ago to set them in my mind, because with my business as an "on call" locksmith, those plans and lists would change constantly.
Therefore, there are only a couple of things each day that I have CONCRETED in--Wealthy Affiliate Community involvement (which helps me start my day and maintain my sanity), a WA Blog post, short or long, and a bit of Wealthy Affiliate research--short or long, depenidng on how the day shapes out!
The rest of my day is tackling whatever comes my way. For some who have a more structured life, your plan works very well!

Life does indeed find a way to upset even the best laid plans Lindy, after all... that is life!
What makes us stronger is having the ability to change and adapt our plans in a positive way so that we can move forward regardless of what life throws at us!
