One small post
Hi family! I just wanted to share something I did last night. Many of you may already do this, but for newbies like me, I thought I would share.
I am a member of a Facebook group that pertains to my niche. I have been a member for the last couple of months and interact daily on the group. This group has over 6k members. Last night I created a post asking for suggestions of what the members wished there was more information about. I didn't mention my website when I did this. I asked because I thought who better to get feedback than this group.
The results have blown me away. I have so many new ideas because of this one post. Someone even commented and wanted to know how the suggestions would be used. I only gave the website when asked.
Now read that last sentence again. I didn't go on there and posted "hey look at my website. Here it is." I didn't just join the group and start spamming my website on posts. I built relationships. I built trust!
By doing this, I found someone that has written a book, has YouTube videos, and even someone that has a podcast. There are so many things we can do to collaborate and help promote each other.
Not only did I get ideas for content and collaborations, but these people were actually going to my website. They were reading my posts, commenting, and giving me feedback. I did not expect to get so much out of one small post!
I challenge you, what can you do in the next week that will help you run your business?
