How to add footers and what should they contain for best performance?
I did a SEO Site Checkup and it was suggested that I add a footer.
Sounds easy enough. Now I would like to know more about footers before I make the change to my site.
I already found the plug ins that I may use. What should my footer contain to bring me maximum results?
Samples would be great.

I worked up sweat to find out how yo get a copyright seal on my sites which eventually came down with some adustmenr to the footer. Great folks sharing knowledge.

Looks good. Always a good idea to check sites paying particular attention to their footers.

Sometimes different themes have footers, and all you have to do is make changes appropriate to your site. Maybe this can work well for you.
I use a banner in my footer, this can be set in your widgets area under appearance. Depending on your site, you would want one that is relevant to your site. I have an Amazon banner in my footer along with the WA banner....they go the width of the site along the bottom. :))
I do have a banner for Website Magazine along the bottom. I will add a banner for WA. Thank you so much for your help.

Linda - I'm just curious ... you may want to check your theme by going to "appearance" and taking a look at it because it very well could already have a footer. If it does, the plugin will just slow your site down. Let me know and God Bless! ~Cathy

Try this: go to "appearance" then click on "customize". If your theme has a footer, it will probably be here. Hope this helps and God Bless! ~Cathy
