I went directly to Jaxxy.com, but without paying it will only give me 30 searches. Is there away around this using my WA account?
Yes, you get Jaaxy Lite as part of your WA membership. Just go to Reasearch > Jaaxy Dashboard.
Here's the link Linda
https://my.jaaxy.com/search/keywords
or select Research from the left side vertical menu
And don't forget your WA account with Jaaxy (if you haven't)

I signed up for an 8 week class at Lurn (before I knew that WA was the better choice). I had to create a website before my official Week 1 webinar which starts tonight. So I c
Hi Linda,
How are you?
If I were in your shoe, I would focus on building the niche website at WA only, reasons being:
1. If I am doing the same niche on both sites, I am gonna to write double the amount of different contents for both sites. Because. duplicate contents will cause your sites to drop in search engines ranking.
2. I am going to have potential search engine ranking competition between my own sites.
3. If I am prepared to write different contents of the same niche on both sites, why not I just put them to one site to pump up the contents. Google loves contents.
4. I can apply what I learn at Lurn to my WA website and focus on building it up to the top of search ranking. More Traffic = Better Monetisation.
5. I will not have a headache to combine both sites in the future.
6. Even if I want to do different niche on both sites, I will focus my energy on one first because monetisation of the contents takes time. When one is successful, I can repeat the success on the other new one easily.
Hope this helps.
Edmund :)
Hi Linda,
Lurn is the marketing empire built by Anik Singal. Anik since bring out Lurn has partnered with many other good marketers to make these 8 week courses. I know he has partnered with Robert Kiosaki, Fred Lam, and others.
I don't know which course you bought or who he partnered with on this one or if he is doing it himself as he has in the past.
To answer your question. If your going to be putting effort into the Lurn Course then why not use that info to boost your WA site. If it was me I would go for the same Niche.

I am unfamiliar with Lurn but $997, wow. Here's thought. Since you've already paid and, i assume, can't get a refund, I'd at least go through the process with Lurn (I had the feeling of throwing away money). For the training portion, yes, keep both sites for now. Lurn may have you take steps that you might not be able to do on WA or vice versa. Once you've completed the training you paid for then you can evaluate combining or transferring a site, etc.
I've been with WA for just over 9 months now and absolutely love it but you'll have to decide for yourself which platform is right for you. Seeing as you've already mentioned WA being the better choice I think you'll be fine but, it doesn't hurt to go through the other program training you already paid for...maybe there will be a nice tidbit you'd pick up from them that you might not here.
Thank you so very much for your response. Correct, no refund. I figured I’m going to do both, but stick with WA. I will go thru Lurn training since it was expensive and I will learn whatever I can from them.
I’m just having a hard time with the questions I asked about using the same niche or different or combining the 2 sites at one point, which I don’t even know if that’s possible. Do I create greatpets on Lurn with greatdog on WA? It would probably be a lot of work or would it? If I’m working on 2 websites does it make sense to have the same niche or do I do completely different ones? Is it possible to combine 2 websites, greatpets and greatdog at some point then incorporate greatcat website?
It's not easy to combine sites into one. Yes it would be a lot of work. Since you're doing 2 sites I'd do 2 niches...that said you can do greatdogs on one and great cats on the other. those niches are large enough to stand on their own for sure. Maybe down the line you can bring in great pets as a parent domain with some articles but eventually referring your visitors to either the cat or dog site, etc.
What you want to be careful of is doing all the work to get ranked under one domain and then move your site to another...you'd basically start over in the eyes of the search engines.
Just a personal opinion Linda ...
As you said, for $997 you would think you could get some kind of site support ...
I think that you've already answered your own question :)
Thanks Zed for your input. You are always very helpful. I definitely know I’m sticking with WA but just need guidelines on my other questions.
As I said is just an opinion Linda :)
As Scott said, just forgetting that money isn't easy ... But your time is also limited ...
