What About Funnels and Autoresonders?
So many ask about using funnels and autoresponders here. (This poat was inspired by another person's blog today)
- How do autoresponders work?
- Which is best, Click funnels, Get Response, A-Weber etc.
- When and how do you use funnels?
- When to use autoresponders?
I know just enough about them to know I don't know enough to advise anyone. I bought a bunch of the Click Funnels books, and paid for several months, made some landing pages and then ran out of money.
But this much I do know, IMO, the thing about any autoresponder is you have to be ready for it before investing unless you have money to throw away. That means
- You have some script or emails all ready to go,
- Have your funnels figured out, and
- Have your landing pages designed in your head at least
- Understand what is going to happen within your funnels when you invest or plunk down your money.
- If you don't know what you are doing, take GR's 14-day free trial, if they still have it. and find out about it, and then stop the billing until you have all your ducks lined up. Just my opinion.

Yes Fleeky, I believe most would agree abou not wasting $$ and consequently saving money.
Is hustle plugin easy to use?
I've had a similar experience. I've decided to wait a while until I have a better grasp on our training.
Something I have thought about and read a bit about, but am waiting for more time to look into it properly before doing anything.
Wise decision, but FYI, remember you are leaving money on the table the longer you wait.

It’s a good opinion, sometimes we, or should say I, get very eager to do everything all at once, and on many occasions I am simply not ready, don’t understand the jargon, thus delaying the laying of the early foundations..

Thanks for your comments, Cordelia. I think delaying the laying of the early foundations is a typical problem for many people. Unfortunately, it furthers our demise in the business, if we aren't careful. Slower is better.

Did you know you can put your URL on your profile page so everyone can see it? Down on the Right column bottom corner under "follow me on" I am trying to send a Private Message, but it won't let me. Gets hung up at the topic or subject line. I've tried "personal". "request, "other" but can't send. Do you know the secret?

You are right. Get your website up so you have a place to send them to, otherwise you are not using it right. It is called AUTO responder for a reason. You need a fair sized list and/or frequency of engagement to benefit from the automation.
Absolutely correct! Thanks for your comment, Stanley. That page on your website would be a Landing Page, where you garnish their emails. Without a list a funnel is almost worthless!

Very good outlook of lining up ducks. We are always in a form of funnel, but making your own is something many people are not aware or maybe uncomfortable with. When it sounds obscure, people rather run than fathom. The ambiguity is the wording, and all it is just a way to streamline from several approaches that really resonate with people. Then before there is a whirlwind that turns into a tornado just stepping back to see the effect and manage the parts that are in control of webmasters, masterminds, marketers and a multitude of caring souls who like helping an entrepreneur mission.
An autoresponder has mixed effect, depending on your audience. I looked into the same idea but it really depends upon niche and engagement no matter where you go. Then recognizing when you gain clout and ultimately influence to know who the best focused people who can benefit from your help.

I just watched a live rally for book release. I tried 3x to do a good review and it erased entirely if I tried to look something up. Oh phooey, I get to tell you the juicy details and it seems mildly ironic or at least kind of fitting. You could try this for the ebook release.

The rally was a very exciting event- both for a nurse entrepreneur and Wealthy Affiliate members who can put this knowledge in action. Now to construct a review of the review plugin...
This is my first eBook with Sqribble and has turned out real nice, but I'm not going to charge for it at first, till I gain more confidence and get a better following.

I agree, be ready before you start paying for the funnel software (especially ClickFunnels since it is so pricy). I did spend $97 on the ClickFunnel 30-day OTA Bootcamp and learned a lot but not enough to actually finish my funnel and get it working. I'm reading the books I got by Russell Brunson and also checking out GetResponse's email automation and its auto funnel builder for now. My ClickFunnel account is on hold. You can put it on hold for like $9.99/month.
I started out with the CF bootcamp and really learned a lot there. But they were hitting me from so many directions with emails and funnels that I wanted what he was advertising, and got so confused, as to what I had and didn't have.
I ended up actually signing up for Actionetics but didn't realize that was what I was signing up for until they sent me a bill 3 weeks later ($297+3 more weeks around $520) Ooch!!!
I was actually using Actionetics and found out how great it was but couldn't afford it. After that, any other Autoresponder doesn't hold a candle. And trying to integrate Get Response into CF was complicated. Over my head.
I didn't put my CF account on hold. It was almost a year ago now, and I don't recall hearing that was available then. I have Russel's books, so I'll have to use them in helping with my emails for the funnels.
The biggest takaway is not to bombard your list with too many offers.
