Missing my son's wedding :-(
So sad today...I got a notice for jury duty and it is within the same day my Son is to be married. We have booked the flight.
I recieved the notice of Jury Duty so right away I applied to be for an exemption so I could attend my son's wedding. I applied on-line and checked today to see that my request was denied.
I callled and was told I have to show up and the Judge would determine wether I could leave or not.
I feel sick to my stomach and just can't imagine missing my son's marriage. I realy hope that when I attend the court I will be let go and able to attend my son's wedding.
I just dont' kow what more to say.....this is heart breaking.

That is awful. I do not understand why jury duty would be more than your son's wedding. If that judge does not excuse you from jury duty he is a real, well he does not have a heart. Congratulations to your son and his wife to be.
That's so sad. Choosing someone else should not be a problem, yet they make things harder. I wish they could "put themselves in your shoe." I hope they will be considerate.
Gut wrenching stuff. I am sure you will be let off just hope you have time to get back tom the wedding on time. Good luck

I would go to the wedding. They aren't going to give you hard time for forgetting you had jury duty.
It was cancelled. All is good now :-)
