Getting it Done
I do believe we are all here for one reason and that is to gain success through our efforts in the online world. I know for sure, a few extra dollars coming my way would be a great accomplishment.
A warning first, my post may make no sense at all, but on the other hand it may. I will blame everything on the cold and the fact I can not listen to the radio anymore. You see here in Canada, I think we jumped the gun on Christmas. Three major Santa Claus Parades just last Saturday.
Humans don’t really like absolutes, we like the grey areas, the wriggle room, the opportunity to change our minds and try something else. But that is all an illusion. It still resolves back to a two-choice system.
I have a tendency to walk in a circle, when my destination is a straight line in front of me. This happened to me when a question was asked here at WA. My gosh did I ever write a long answer, most of it not revelant to the question. After I had written this long story, I scrolled down to read some of the other comments. It was really about a three-line answer. I apologize Kara.
OK, ready for my story...here goes:
If anyone saw the movie, The Empire Strikes Back. There is a part when the good guys ship get's stuck in a swamp. Yes, I feel like I am stuck in a swamp right now. Well the Master Captain call him whatever, in the movie he is the wize Jedi Master called Yoda. Look, I had nothing to do with naming the character's in the movie. Yoda tells this guy who becomes the hero. "May the force be with you", get off your cell phone there is no CAA or AAA, or any tow truck operators on this part of the planet. Plus the cell reception here is bad especially if you are using that over priced company called Roger's.( honest to goodness Canadian company). Looks like there has to be some work to be done here by our soon to be hero, lets call him Michael.
Of course Michael does not believe in this may the force be with you stuff. Master Yoda shoots him some more encouraging words, "go out and not just try, for there is no trying there is do or do not". Well Michael does his best, his masters words ringing in his head, there is no trying there is doing or not doing. This soon to be hero who started around September 2018 (in earth years) and now it is November 2019 to get this ship out of the swamp was not doing too good. Yes he tried and tried but wasn't successful. Feeling defeated he decides to give up. He goes to his master and tells him that he can not free the ship, it is impossible. Looks like it is time to give up.
Well this does not go too good with the master. The force was with you, the tools were given to you, what's more your friends were helping you, using a different network. They gave you suggestions, recommendations and did not give up on you.
The master suggests to Michael to gain more knowledge while he will go out there and free the ship. After a short period the master returns to the ship, starts the ship up and they are now free from the swamp.
Feeling confused Michael approaches his master, but master I tried and I tried but I failed. How were you able to free the ship, and really why did you make me struggle so much when you knew you could have got the ship out a year ago.
OK, here comes the profound words of wisdom from the master, Michael you were not able to free the ship because you doubted your abilities, you forgot to believe in yourself.
Michael complicated things. There were two choices he had, to give up, or believe that he could accomplish the task at hand and get it done.
Just in case there is someone still reading this, it really is about some of the struggles faced here at WA, and accomplishing what we need to. Believe in yourself, never give up, cast away those moments when doubt that may invade you to cloud your judgment.
There are many times I have felt so discouraged that I wanted to give up. There are more than one Yoda's here to help me out and the bonus of belonging to a great community has kept me and I am pretty sure I will be here for a while.
Certain characters name have been changed to protect the innocent.
There were actually more than one Yoda here: they were played by some guy called Kyle, Carson and Jay.
Other characters were played by the many helpful great friends here at The Wealthy Affiliate.

Just love the Star Wars Franchise, even 1, 2 and 3 but that have more to do with Nathalie Portman as opposed to Ewan McGregor. Self belief if you want to simplify (not that it is simple) is down to choice. Like Yoda would say. 'Choice is yours, you have to make'

I once read a great book where the author, a Dr., sorry his name is not coming to me at this time. Reading his books changed a lot of negatives in my life to positives.
We at one time practiced the phrase seeing is believing and that is a true statement. For psychological improvement in ourselves I do feel that when when we start to believe in ourselves we will see what our hard work has accomplished. Therefore the title of the book was called, "Believing is seeing".
Just came to me, the author's name was Dr. Wayne Dyer and he is great.

Funny thing Michael. Last night I hooked up a stereo in my study and my wife had left a Christmas CD in it so when I turned it on guess what I was listening to.
So there I was listening to Christmas songs, it was a brief but fun relief from the usual listening.
In any case. Thank you for sharing your post, I think I need encouragement every day.
