Setting Up A Website For Free
You see building a website 10-12 years ago was a huge undertaking - and forget about most people trying to do it for themselves. Well unless you have mad web building skills (which I did not) and the programs to go with those skills.
When I needed a professional website I had to hire a website builder (not cheap) and each and every time I want to make ANY changes it cost money and it got done on his schedule.
And his schedule was not my schedule I wanted things done now!!
After going through that I wanted to learn how build websites for myself, this way I was in total control and did not have to rely on someone else to get things done. And I could make all the changes and additions I wanted to my site to my hearts content.
So I taught myself coding and site building - I understood how to use Dreamweaver - and then Blogger which made made things easier and then other programs and than WordPress!! (this is where you should be hearing angles singing)
At first and I mean the early days of WordPress it was a little challenging to use but now ANYONE can build a beautiful website using WordPress and you don't need mad technical skills either.
And here at the Wealthy Affiliate with the use of their WordPress Express program things are even easier. Any one and I mean anyone can have a beautiful website up and running in less than 30 seconds.
Of course you have to add content and such but you have to do that with any site, but with just 3 clicks you can have a fully functional website ready to go.
I did a video showing that this was no joke, I got my fully functioning mobile site up and running in 30 seconds. Yeah baby!!

There is no other place I'm aware of other than the Wealthy Affiliate where anyone who has a desire to build a successful business online can start doing that for absolutely ZERO cost.
The Wealthy Affiliate offers a free website - free hosting and free training - and you don't even have to spend money on a domain name.
Are you kidding me!!!
There are NO excuses for anyone not to start building a business online.
Like I said to bad the Wealthy Affiliate was not around 10 years ago - but hey they're here now so all is good.

Leo, I had no idea it was like this in past years. If I had known, I wouldn't ever have even thought about trying! :) It makes me ashamed of any whining I've done about how hard this is. :( I think I better start thinking about gratitude for what I have here at WA. You have inspired me to be even more excited about the prospect of building a business online and you are right, I should have NO excuses. Thanks for inspiring me and believing in me. I can't even begin to tell you how good it makes me feel!

It IS simple, isn't it. Especially using the SiteRubix TLD. Just pick your domain, pick your theme, activate a coupla plugins, and WHAM. Website online.
I went and watched your video. It was great. The only thing I was thinking while you were doing it was you kept mentioning free. With the changes that are coming to the free starter membership did you think it was best not to say free for 30 days only? Once they get here they will know it is not free forever.
I am having to changes some of my sites once this does happen and am trying to find some different ways to word this. Kyle has mentioned some to me.

A free member gets a free website and they can stay a free member as long as they like which includes their website. They are not forced to make a decision within 30 days of any kind.
The change I am aware of is that a new starter member will only get 1 free website not 2 as it is currently. When did it become a forced issue after 30 days for free members?
And thank you I'm glad you like my videos I enjoy doing them.
The only thing this is going to change is their communication (Live chat, blogging,commenting on other profiles or blogs) everything else will not be affected and they can still go through with their training and building their websites for as long as they want.
Ok cool - then Sherion is right - so all the other stuff is stopped after 30 days.
Next video I will make a point of mentioning that.
Well Sherion after thinking about it I took your advice and fixed the video and cut out the parts where I mention all the other stuff so I will be good to go.

Leo great post. (angels singing not angles), I love how easy building a site is here. You are a tougher person than me, I tried to code a website before with html, It took forever and the end result was kinda crappy.
