Hey YouTuber's Make Sure You Do This

If you're like me I use YouTube to drive a ton of traffic to my websites. And I do this through of course proper video SEO, which get's my videos ranked on both YouTube and Google.

And to get people off my youtube video and to my site I use annotations, which allows links directly in a video. But I also use Info Cards. And why?

For a few reason, one of the biggest is YouTube has mentioned that Info Cards are going to eventually replace annotations.

Cards have many advantages over annotations, like being optimized for mobile, higher click-through rates, and a better interface for both the creator and the user.

But until they do completly replace annotations you want to use both, the reason being is if you're not using the info card feature you're missing out on 50% of your potential traffic.

You see annotations don't work on mobile devices however cards do. So by having cards activated on all your videos, and yes you can go back to all your videos and add info cards.

By having both in all your videos you'll give everyone the opportunity to click through to your site.

So not only should you be using cards to get that mobile traffic - but you need to be using them in all your videos because annotations are going bye, bye.

Here's a link for more info and the use of cards: https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/6140493

You'll also find plenty of videos about using info cards by doing a search in Google.

You'll find the cards feature within the editing area of your video

Ok, back to making more videos.

I believe in you

Beautiful stuff.Thanks a stax for this,Leo

Thank you so much for this. I won't pretend I understand much of your information yet, but I am sure that I will find it invaluable when I progress to video standard. Again, I am amazed at how much time and care that you all give, freely, to others. Feel so lucky. Take care.

So, not sure if my last message went through, I think this is an awesome training, YouTube is one of the best resources for any online business! And showing this is very beneficial to those that don't know about it. I had no Idea they were changing exclusively Info Cards. As I have multiple new channels, the new ones are for my new sites. I am currently getting videos ready to upload to my site and YouTube, but I also write review forums of various media and videos, quote it, and write a positive review, and join there affiliate program or network (if they have one), do you do the exact same thing by adding my affiliate or forum links to my Name Card. Thank you, this is very helpful!

You cannot link to an affiliate site unless that site is your site and is verified as the associated site to that channel.

So you can link to a review you did on your site or any page or post for that matter. And the links on that page or post can be affiliate links.

YouTube business Pages is one of the most underutilized online business resource, and is how many websites have succeeded in getting targeted traffic, I think this is a very valuable training, and you broke it down fairly simply, because I would have kept on Using Annotations, when I start uploading my own videos, so thank you! Also, what about videos that I am subscribed to their channel and am an affiliate for the companies that made those videos, or a review on a particular video that I like and give them a positive review, does this apply to that as well, thank you!

Thanks Leo! :))
