Can you see the beauty around you? It is everywhere, just have a look!

Happiness

Today on my morning walk I was looking at the beautiful frost on the trees in awe and feeling very happy. Just like my dog Aisa. She is always happy, no matter what.

Did you know that if you force a smile for a certain amount of time (I'm not sure whether it is 2 minutes or more), you can trick your brain into happiness? "A smile spurs a powerful chemical reaction in the brain that can make you feel happier." Science has proven that smiling can lift your mood, lower stress, boost your immune system and possibly even prolong your life.

So we all have a tool of how to feel happier!

Feeling rich

I think more and more of how rich I am. What all I have in my life. It makes you see it more when you spend some time in the countryside, I guess. There's no lack in nature. There is enough of everything.

We often stress over what we don't have. We want this and that. Nothing wrong with wanting something but we should not want anything from the position of lack and saying or thinking: I need it (and feeling that if we don't get it, we won't be happy). Feeling poor brings more poverty into one's life.

I listened to Justin Perry this morning and he was talking about the law of attraction and how it changed his life when he realized we are creators of our lives. Like energy attracts like energy. So it matters a lot to feel good, to feel happy and wealthy. We all are Wealthy, aren't we?

Vision of future

If you have a vision seeing yourself, a vision where you want to be in one year, two years, five

years, you will get to that position eventually. But you have to know what you want.

Many successful sportsmen, musicians and businessmen envision themselves in that position where they want to be first. Thought preceds reality.

So do you know what you want? Not just money, house, car....Do see yourself in the new reality you want to live in? Do you know what person you want to become? Because in order to change our reality, we have to change our personality. Same personality brings about the same personal reality.

I've got a clear vision of what I want and who I want to be. I've changed my personality a lot already but there is still room for change. Visualizing is an important part of my everyday's life and when I stop with that for a while because of circumstances, I always get back to it.

Can you see yourself in your future?
Or do you find it hard to visualize?

Great article Lenka.

Not many know we have the power to program our brain. Those who are in the self improvement field have been teaching this oit seems forever. The techniques you brought up in this realm.

When we use thought to make us feel like we already have achieved what we are trying to achieve, our brains start to subconsciously see opportunities we would have previously missed. This helps us to make decisions towards achieving what we want that we would not have made otherwise.

Have you noticed the times when you got a new car, you can swear that nearly every other car you see on the road is the model you just got?

Nothing has changed. But your brain now sees things differently as influenced by your action of getting that new car.

The same phenomena happens in other circumstances too.

Keep up your inspiring messages.

Cheers!

Edwin

Edwin, you are absolutely right. I had never noticed that many Audi A6 cars on the road until we bought one two years ago. Since that time I can see them everywhere.
I've been interested in the power of our mind to program our future for a long time and I know so much about it, all I have to do is to consistently move forward and keep working both on my subconscious and on the tasks that will lead me to the end result eventually.
Thanks for reading and taking time to reply, your comment is very valuable.
Have a beautiful day!

Great post! really got me thinking, so thanks for that
Beautiful picture of the frosted trees, did you take that where you live? I have some of those kind of pictures too...it's been snowing for weeks now, amounting to at least four feet of of the powdery stuff out there...
But the power is on for now, so I'm enjoying commenting on interesting WA blogs, like yours...
:)

I'm glad you enjoyed reading my post, Kathleen. The small picture inside the post was taken by me. The title one not, it is special format any many of my pictures don't fit.

I really like the bit about smiling to "force" happiness. Good idea. I also appreciate that you mentioned being rich. "Rich" can include many things besides money. You can be rich in your life experiences, or rich with friends, or rich because your lifestyle makes you feel that way. Rich can often be a state of mind.

Good post.

So true Fran, we can feel rich in many ways. And it is a state of mind for sure.
Thank you!

Visualisation is a powerful tool that many people underestimate.
It's something that I have actually used to improve my golf! There used to be certain holes on my local course that I regularly made a mess of my hitting a bad shot. I started standing on the tee at these holes and before I hit my shot I visualised it going straight down the middle. It doesnt always work but it made a huge difference to my game!

Thanks
Dave

It's definitely underestimated Dave. I use it to crush particular challenges on my mountain bike, skis, pretty much everything. No mumbo, it works. S

Dave, that's great! I think all successful sportsmen do it, consciously or unconsciously.
But other people underestimate it often, you are right. Even I sometimes forget about it but then get back to it. It like that with everything, it has to become a habit.
Thanks for sharing!

Glad to see you agree with me Steve. The people who dismiss the idea are usually the ones who have never tried it!

I plan on visualizing about 74 times today. I am playing golf and I plan on shooting a 74. And I will close my eyes and visualize every single one of the shos for a good 5-8 seconds.

Then when I get working on my new niche site even more visualization will occur.

Thanks for sharing my favorite Czech Chick.
Mapk ( I wish I had used the Ukrainian spelling when I changed user names). Damn it.

I have never tried playing golf so I don't know what you are talking about really, Mapk! :)
I'm planning to visualize more. I actually inspired myself with this post.lol
