That's a great idea... for some people. Personally, I couldn't make much use of it, as I don't email anyone other than sending my cv/ resume to potential employers.
But one thing I do agree with is getting your link out there to be seen. If you do email people, always have your link. If you leave messages somewhere, same thing. The more visibility you have, the better.
I completely agree. You just never know when one or two people will sign up for this. Why not, right?

On another note, how many people live in Kelowna? My best friend and his family lived there for a few years and then moved to New Westminster, BC.
I never visited them when they were in Kelowna, because it's a drive from Olympia, WA, but I've visited them at New Westminster many times.

Our population is around 150,000. During the summer months that number increases by 15,000 - 20,000.
Kelowna is a popular summer destination because of the lake, numerous beaches, golfing and all the wineries.
Wouldn't it be great to get the WA people, who live close by, all together? If not in Canada or Washington, hopefully VEGAS!!!
