How to find your old Keyword Lists
Wealthy Affiliate Keyword Tools
As most of you know, Wealthy Affiliate originally had a free Keyword Tool integrated into WA membership and JAAXY.
Recently, Carson announced that Jaaxy Lite would be available to WA members free of charge. Read more about this here:
Jaaxy is Now the Official Keyword Tool of Wealthy Affiliate
The news has been met with mixed reviews.
Personally, I love this change, because, even though I used the WA Tool extensively before switching to Jaaxy, I prefer using Jaaxy because:
- It's faster
- It's easier to save lists in .csv format
- I love using SiteRank
I blogged about this here:
New Integrated Jaaxy NB: Edit your Jaaxy and WA Reviews
I've noticed on Live Chat that there's a question that comes up often.
(Actually, I'm sure there are many FAQ's in Live Chat, but let's start with this one).
Where can I find my Original Keyword Lists?
I didn't know the answer to this question, but I noticed that Jessica @Swangirl answered it this morning. Thanks Jessica!
So, for all the benefit of all those looking for the Original Wealthy Affiliate Keyword Tool and their old Keyword lists,

I would recommend you save your lists now in case this link disappears altogether at some stage.
Alanna @Emerald860 recently added a tutorial explaining how to do that:
Export Keyword Lists from the WA Keyword Tool
Thanks to Randy @DoubleTap who guided me to this brilliant Tutorial by Sharon @NannaGoosey:
Keyword Tool" is gone from the menu. How to access & download your saved lists.
**Sharon also mentions the laborious method I always used when saving lists from the old Keyword Tool (saving to Excel Spreadsheets and then manually adding "Competition" for each Keyword) AND she has the ULTIMATE FIX. DO NOT MISS THIS TUTORIAL.

Lauren,
You're SO gifted, at presenting information in a way that isn't overwhelming. Thank you so much for mentioning my tutorial: I'm honored and delighted!
Sharon
I've hardly used the original keyword tool since I've been here at WA and have pretty much used Jaaxy from the very get go. I just love all the features it has and the speed of it and I'm so glad to see that it is now integrated into WA.
Thanks for the mention Lauren. I had forgotten Carson's post from a few months ago. I just wish they made a specific announcement reminding/telling us the Keyword Tool was going away. What if someone didn't happen to get the "memo" so to speak?
I am glad I found the link in someone else's post comment but I don't know where they found it.
I really like the Keyword Tool. I find some of Jaaxy's results to be strange. Bad scores will sometimes have the "Great" title under KQI column indicating it is a great keyword. I have had messages from members asking me for help because they could not understand what this means. That is why I used the WA Keyword Tool instead.
I think there should be some kind of bulletin board for major WA announcements so we all have warning about the big changes. Someone else suggested this on my post and I think it is a great idea.
Hi Jessica, pleasure. The bulletin board is a good idea. Let's suggest it to Kyle and Carson.
After just a few days on Live Chat, am thinking of creating an FAQ post/Tutorial.
Being a new member I don't have this issue as I haven't used the old keyword tool, I used the google keyword tool a lot in the past and find Jaaxy pretty well up there with it.
Hi Andrew, aah, fab. I don't think I've ever tried the Google Keyword tool. Is it a free tool!?
It was free, I believe they have now incorporated it into the Adwords ppc platform and call it keyword planner.
Thanks Lauren jean,
I badly needed this. I was about to PM Kyle about it as I have saved more than 1000's keywords ideas for various different niches in old WA keyword tool. Thanks
Hi Lauren
I would imagine most would prefer to use Jaaxy. From what I read the other day, members were puzzled that key word had disappeared without notice other than a link of where to find it.
I can understand members bemusement.
It makes sense to phase key word out and for members to use jaaxy, jaaxy is more inviting and user friendly.
The key to key word phase out successfully, is to let members know before hand! It prevents members getting worked up.
Clearly, even on WA, it takes people time to adapt to change which is understandable!

Haha, I hear you, Wayne. People struggle with change even when it's change for the better.
